Effects

Smack Down deals damage and knocks the target to the ground. Any raised Pokémon now become susceptible to Ground moves and Arena Trap. Raised Pokémon are any Flying types or those under the effects of Levitate, Magnet Rise or Telekinesis. Full details in glossary.

Smack Down can hit Pokémon using Fly or Bounce and will bring them back down to the ground, thus cancelling the moves. It can also hit Pokémon using Sky Drop but does not knock them to the ground. It does not knock down Substitutes but deals damage to the Substitute as normal.

Z-Move effects

When a Pokémon is holding Rockium Z and uses its Z-Power, Smack Down turns into Continental Crush and has base power 100.
