As usual, to get it you go to
Mystery Gift in the game menu, then

Get Via Internet.
Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire — 12 September, 2014
TPCi has today confirmed the new Mega Evolutions leaked recently in CoroCoro. The video below shows Mega Camerupt, Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gallade in battle, and also confirms the details for Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.
Primal Groudon's ability is Desolate Land, which turns the sunlight
extremely harsh. It prevents the weather being changed, whether by moves like Rain Dance or abilities like Drizzle. It also blocks all Water-type attacks, which
evaporate in the harsh sunlight. Groudon's new signature move that was previously hinted at is called Precipice Blades.
Primal Kyogre's ability is Primordial Sea, which creates
heavy rain. It prevents the weather being changed, whether by moves like Sunny Day or abilities like Snow Warning. It also blocks all Fire-type attacks, which
fizzle out in the heavy rain. Kyogre's new signature move that was previously hinted at is called Origin Pulse.

Pokemon Events — 11 August, 2014
We already tweeted about this but here's a little more detail. The new online Pokemon merchandise store, PokemonCenter.com is now open, and to celebrate they are giving away the special PokeBall-pattern Vivillon!
Since PokemonCenter.com is for America only, so is this event. It runs from August 7th to August 12th so be sure to get it while you can! It's available via Mystery Gift in the main menu, then select
Receive via Internet.
However, the event has also been announced for Europe and Australia, running from August 29th to September 8th. As above it's a short distribution so mark your calendar so you don't forget!
Finally, another event is due to start shortly in America - from August 13th either Heracross (in X) or Pinsir (in Y) are available via Mystery Gift over Wi-Fi. Heracross has the moves Bullet Seed, Pin Missile, Close Combat and Megahorn. Pinsir has the moves X-Scissor, Earthquake, Stone Edge and Return.
In addition, from August 18th participating GameStop stores will provide the appropriate Mega Stones for them to hold and Mega-Evolve in battle! This requires a serial code from GameStop so make sure to get there while stocks last.

This one is called the Fancy Pattern Vivillon and it comes with an exclusive move, Hold Hands, which increases Pokémon's happiness (but can only be used in double/triple battles).

Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire — 14 July, 2014
Upon Mega-Evolving, it gains the ability Tough Claws and remains Steel/Psychic type. Its Speed is greatly increased, but also has small increases in each of its other stats too. More pictures and video below.
Also confirmed are some gym leaders and Elite Four members. These are the same as in the original games, but we see that Elite Four Phoebe uses a Dusknoir, Elite Four Sidney uses a Shiftry, and Champion Steven uses Mega Metagross.
Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire — 11 July, 2014
The latest issue of CoroCoro has leaked and confirms that Metagross will gain a Mega Evolution in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It will be used by Steven Stone, who was the champion of the Hoenn region in the original games.
Mega Metagross appears to have another Metang fused to it, and from the screenshot below appears to float in the air. It also states that Steven Mega-evolves his Pokemon with a
Mega Brooch rather than the Mega Bracelet the player will use in OR/AS (or the Mega Ring as in X/Y).
Mega Metagross is believed to remain Steel/Psychic type, gain the Tough Claws ability, and have a significant increase in speed. We'll bring full confirmation asap.
Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire — 09 July, 2014
It has been confirmed that Secret Bases, one of the most popular features of Ruby/Sapphire, will return in the remakes Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as Super-Secret Bases with many additional features.
Super-Secret Bases can be decorated, and decorations can be used to create tricks. You can connect with other players to share your base, battle them, and use
special skills to support them on their adventures. You can also decide what kinds of Pokemon battles are allowed in your base and even create your own Pokemon Gym!
Super-Secret Bases also have a capture-the-flag mini game. Collecting lots of flags improves your team's rank and increases the
special skills of your friends.
