Slaking isn't used much and its VERY powerful I'm not sure because of truant.

Slaking has it's ups and downs. I have little experience using it but it has stats worthy of an Uber Pokemon, so if you spam Giga Impact you are basically going to wreck anything but ghosts and steels, the latter of which will still most likely be maimed. The downside to Truant is that protect stalls you like crazy and you are very vulnerable to being revenged, you are also set-up bait with Truant. Overall, I would say no, but others may disagree.

No it is not worth it. I got OHKO because of truant several times. If you still want a Slaking, don't evolve it. Keep it as a Vigoroth.
