How is the damage determined from an attack with, lets say base power 40, without nature, STAB, EV, or IV boosts, against another Pokemon?

Damage = ((((2 * Level / 5 + 2) * AttackStat * AttackPower / DefenseStat) / 50) + 2) * STAB * Weakness/Resistance * RandomNumber(85-100) / 100

If we substitute the numbers in, we get

((((2 x Level / 5 + 2) x AttackStat(including EV, IV and nature) x 40 / DefenseStat) / 50) + 2) x STAB x Weakness/Resistance x RandomNumber(85-100) / 100

I cant get the exact damage since it is also depended by your level, opponent's defense, and your exact attack stat, weakness

If you are lv100, with 100 atk stat, neutral, and you opponent has 50def,
((((42) x 100 x 40 / 50) / 50) + 2) x 1.5 x RandomNumber(85-100) / 100
103.8 x RandomNumber(85-100) / 100
=88-103 damage

Lets say that my pokemon attack is 40. Attacking move is Base Power 40. No added boosts or effects. Opponents pokemon Defense is 40. Neutral Attack type. levels are equal at twenty.
15 x ((85-100)/100)
12-15 damage
