I really want to evolve my magmar in Pokemon black and need a magmarizer. I am aware of the guy on route 13 but I don't know how long it would take to get a magmarizer from him. What is the chance like?
As far as I can tell, the chances are absolutely random; I got a Big Pearl two days in a row, so it's simply a matter of chance/ luck.
Save before you talk to him so when it is not the item you want, you can soft reset(l+r+start+select) until you get the magarizer.
