Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

What about Pokemon currency?

I remember watching an old Pokemon episode. It showed Ash and Misty eating, and Misty left Ash with the bill. Do they use normal money, or like in the games; pokedollars?

They appear to use Japan's yen and our money in the English dub.
PokeDollars (enter image description here) haven't appeared in the Anime yet.

Pokémon Dollars are not used or seen in the Pokémon anime, whether the original or the English dub, although money has been mentioned throughout the anime and the yen symbol (changed to a dollar symbol in the dub) appears on a restaurant bill in Showdown in Pewter City.

The Japanese Currency is the Yen,so I believe that It would be Poké Yen(Which is also what Tamashii Hiroka calls if if I remember properly) :-)
