Earthquake-never pass up a STAB earthquake...Ever.

Thunder Fang-Covers water weakness.

Stone Edge-Covers ice weakness. both also deal with flying types who are immune to earthquake.

Crunch/Outrage/ Bulk up-Crunch for dark STAB, outrage is cool, but has terrible type coverage (most dragons are in higher tiers, while powerful, it is super effective against dragons only.) Bulk up boosts physical stats.

An interesting Pokemon, not neccisarily the best Ground type, but he has his good points.

Earthquake: Obviously.

Dragon Tail: Does damage while getting rid of the foe.

Aerial Ace: Deals with three weaknesses.

This is my Choice Scarf set, perfect for revenge killing and Moxie boosts:

Krookodile (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Stone Edge / Brick Break

The Choice scarf makes this guy fast enough to KO pretty well any hurt opponent, and you get stronger from Moxie with every opponent you KO, making it a devastating sweeper.
Outrage has phenomenal neutral coverage with high power, and it locks you in anyway, so it is pretty good with the Scarf.
Earthquake has STAB, and it hits Steel types that resist Outrage, not to mention 4 other types, it is kind of a no-brainer.
Crunch is also STAB, and it hits just as hard as Outrage without the confusion, it just doesn't have the neutral coverage.
The next slot is preference, Stone Edge is more powerful and accurate, as well as having a high crit ratio, while Brick Break has a really strong coverage with Crunch.

EVs go into Attack and Speed, just because it is a sweeper, while Nature boosts attack, since Scarf boosts speed. Moxie allows choiced attacks to just get stronger and stronger as Krook wipes out the opposing team.

Shadow Claw/Aerial Ace/Thunder Fang/Claw Sharpen/Dragon Claw/Outrage: Well, Lots of other great move choices. Your Choice!

Dragon Tail+Toxic: Poison The Foes Whole Team.

Well, Claw sharpen looks good.

Stone Edge has a much better chance of hitting after claw sharpen.

Fire fang would cover 3 weaknesses, very nice.

And Outrage is just GREAT!

Earthquake is for STAB. With the Band, and Moxie... This guy is a force to be reckoned with. Fire Fang covers Bug, Grass, and Ice types. Thunder Fang covers Water types. Outrage+Choice Band+Moxie=Somebody getting screwed over.

I have a krookodile and it murders, this is the set I used.

Krookodile: EV's 252 SPD 252 DEF 4 HP @ Shell Bell
Nature : Jolly
Swagger ( raises opponents attack and confuses )
Foul Play ( After 1 swagger, this move will HURT )
Earthquake ( Can't have a ground type without it )
Ariel Ace ( Coverage )

The main focus is going first with a swagger and then using foul play for massive damage, while having shell bell to recover you after you one hit ko someone, and EV's in Defense incase you have to take a physical hit.

Swagger, Sharply raises their attack stat powering up foul play, also makes them confused.

Foul Play, Powered up by Swagger, stab.

Dragon Tail, Gets rid of opponents.

Earthquake, Stab and just a great move, many things works here.

I use my Krokodile for a Electric/psychic sweep, so no covering weakness'

item:Expert Belt- Adds some power to those attacks on the electric/psychic pokemon, plus makes up a bit for non-stab moves like smackdown/stone edge on flying pokemon

nature:Adamant(ups attak, doesn't need sp.atk anyway)

ability:moxie

ev:252 attack, 130 speed 32 defence 32 sp.defence
everything you can put into attack, some speed because you always want to hit first, and some defence because you'll most likely be switching him in, and he may need to be able to take a hit or two.

bulk up/hone claws- both up attack, but hone claw is useful if you have a move like stone edge, gives you a bit of Accuracy, bulk up i would use, just for the boost of defence.

smack down/stone edge-with the quite popular Eelektross and Emolga, and the new (annoying) air balloon item, this can be quite useful. if you want something different, you can go for stone edge, fairly strong and decent Accuracy if you pair it with a few hone claws

My Krookodile kills in Battle Subway:

Ability-Moxie
EVs-Speed and Attack
Item-Life Orb

1) Crunch
2) Earthquake
3) Low Sweep
4) Smack Down

Crunch and earthquake are no brainers with STAB, low sweep for my Lucario and Haxorus when he dies, also covers ice and other darks. Smack down to take down the flying and blast them with earthquake. life orb gives +50% damage and with a STAB earthquake it does 200 damage regularly. he can rarely take a hit so why not use life orb? also, moxie can take a whole team out if he can get the upper hand.

outrage a very good move to use against irises haxourous archeops druddigon and hydreigon.
brick break/stone edge/attract. all very good moves.
dig a super effective move on fire types electric types and fighting (sometimes fighting)
