Galvantula (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Energy Ball
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Standard All-Out-Attacker (or AoA) set that takes advantage of Galvantula's Speed, decent Special Attack, and coverage moves. Compound Eyes boosting Thunder's accuracy gives Galvantula a powerful STAB move to spam. Energy Ball and HP Ice allow Galvantula to hit Ground-types super effectively that otherwise can come in on Thunder. Bug Buzz is a nice secondary STAB move to have to hit Pokemon, mainly Grass-types, who resist Thunder. Life Orb lets Galvantula have more power to its attacks while still being able to switch moves.

With great speed and decent special attack galvantula is just begging for choice specs
Galvantula
Galvantula @ Choice Specs
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Just feel like galvantula isn't hitting hard enough? Here's the solution. The moves are pretty self explanatory. Giga drain and another hidden power like ground are also viable move options.

Role: fast sweeper

Galvantula @ Magnet
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Bug Buzz
- Gastro Acid

  • Thunder (great acuracy thanks to compound eyes,STAB)
  • Volt Switch (oh damn, a threat, RUN)
  • Bug Buzz (how can he buzz without wings? STAB)
  • Gastro Acid (nice ability, not any more)

Use thunder to kill of most Pokemon, volt switch when in danger, bug buzz for Pokemon resistent to electric type and gastro acid to get rid of any good ability the opponent might have.
you will be sweeping in no time, either other Pokemon, or Galvantula's wrecked remains.

Hope I helped

No physical moveset?

Role: physical sweeper

Galvantula @ Choice Band
Ability: Unnerve / Swarm
EVs: 8 HP / 248 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- X-Scissor
- Wild Charge
- Poison Jab / Cross Poison
- Sucker Punch / Pursuit

X-scissor: stab

Wild charge: Stab, does 90 power but recoil.

poison jab/cross poison: Poison jab does more damage and has a 30% chance to poison foe while cross poison has high crit and has 10% chance to poison foe.

Sucker punch/pursuit: Priority when opponent plans to attack or if opponent decides to switch out.

Granted a physical moveset isn't the best option but its definitely something your opponent wont see coming. Sadly it has no moves that can cover its two weaknesses but hey its still a pretty decent set.

A somewhat troll set ;D
Galvantula

Galvantula @ Binding Band
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Infestation
- Electroweb
- Hidden Power [Water] / Hidden Power [Ground]
- Gastro Acid

I know, these aren't the strongest moves, but at least you can annoy your opponent and bleed his/her pokémon to death. Trap yout enemies with Infestation in the first round (powered up by Binding Band), then take out their ability with Gastro Acid, then finish them with Electroweb attacks, increasing its accuracy with Compund Eyes! Hidden Power covers Fire and Rock weaknesses, and of course, Ground covers more types, but Water type is not the end of the world, I guess. :D

Role: Special Sweeper

Galvantula @ Life Orb
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch / Electro Ball
- Bug Buzz
- Agility
__

I hardly ever put Thunder in a Moveset, because of its low accuracy. But on Compound Eyes Galvantula, it should have 100%. As long as you don't use Galvantula during the Effect of Sunny Day, it should be fine.
Volt Switch can be useful if the opponent uses Sunny Day, so you can switch out for a Pokemon that would benefit from Sun. Or you can use Electro Ball, which does more damage the faster the user is. Galvantula is REALLY fast, so it's a good combo.
Bug Buzz is just for good Special Bug STAB.
Agility can make Electro Ball do more damage.

Muq Böcük (Galvantula) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Sticky Web
- Electroweb / Energy Ball / Toxic (if you want hit ground types and Landorus-T, use Energy Ball.)
- Thunder Wave (for fast Pokemons)

Compound Eyes Thunder is better.

Galvantula @L ife Orb
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Thunder Wave
- Energy Ball
- Electro Ball / Volt Switch

With this set you have thunder wave to of course paralyze the opposing Pokémon and overall it's a good supporting move. Bug Buzz is one of the best Bug moves in game, and with Swarm as the ability if your HP is lower it'll do more. Energy Ball & Electro Ball are not bad moves, but even switching out Electro Ball for Volt Switch could also be useful in battle.

Gen 9 NU Sticky Web

SPYDER!! (Galvantula) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe or 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive / Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Pounce / Energy Ball

Since Sticky Web is an actually viable playstyle in Gen 9 NU at the time of this post due to there being really good abusers of Webs, here is a lead Webs set Galvantula can use in Gen 9 NU. Sticky Web slowing down grounded Pokemon is useful for abusers such as Torterra and Cloyster that isn't using a +speed Nature, who appreciate Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Mienshao and Choice Scarf Infernape being slowed down. Thunder being boosted by Compound Eyes gives Galvantula a powerful Electric STAB that hits hard provided opposing Pokemon don't resist it. Bug Buzz is used for a powerful Bug Buzz to threaten Tsareena and Brambleghast who will want to spin away the Webs Galvantula sets up. Pounce may seem like a weird option, but Pounce allows Galvantula to slow down opposing Pokemon, including Electric- and Ground-types, and deal some chip damage in the process. You can use Energy Ball instead to hit Ground-types such as Gastrodon, Swampert, and Quagsire super effectively. If you use Energy Ball, use the second EV spread and a Timid Nature instead of Naive. Focus Sash is used since this set is used as a lead that you'll want to send out 99.99% of the time. SPYDER!! is the nickname since it is the spider of NU right now and is the rule of NU Galvantula it is the way to assert your dominance against opposing Galvantula as the supreme Spider Pokemon of NU. Tera Ghost is there if you need to block Rapid Spin or a Fake Out from Ambipom on the ladder.
