Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

Does the egg Pokemon of an international parent count as an international Pokemon?

Japan mother + US father = international

Japan + Japan (even if it's on an American save file) = not international

So would the offspring of a Japan mother + US father be considered an international Japan Pokemon itself? If it hatches female and I breed it with the same US father would it be an international pairing?

Probably not, because the summary and everything would be in English..

No. the Pokemon must have hatched, been caught, or distributed from the other region.
