PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I have been told quite a lot lately that shiny Zekrom and Reshiram are not obtainable yet. I doubted this, since I really did think it was possible. I checked a DB Question, and I realised that they were right. However, I did a quick search on Serebii and DB and both of them had a shiny sprite. How were you able to access this sprite? How did either sites do this?

And, another question, since Kyurem is considered the shell of Reshiram and Zekrom, since all three of the Pokemon were fused together wouldn't all three of them be shiny, if it were possible? Like, if Reshiram was shiny, Zekrom and Kyurem would be shiny as well since they were once the same Pokemon. Would I be right saying that?

Thanks. :)

People hacked into the game to get the sprites. This is the only way to get the sprites, as the game is programmed to prevent Zekrom and Reshiram from being Shiny.

The sprites were likely included in the game in case Nintendo decides to release a Shiny version of either Pokemon by an event. It also gives the game a sprite to use if somebody hacks a Shiny Zekrom/Reshiram into their game.

With the second question, only Zekrom and Reshiram were once the same Pokemon. Kyurem is only a relative, as it represents wuji. So that statement isn't entirely correct.

Nintendo made a shiny sprite for Zekrom and Reshiram but they are unobtainable without hacking. (also if you go to the Pokemon database for Zekrom or Reshiram and go to sprites there are shiny sprites)
