What would happen if the gts glitch in gen4 were used for fossils?

If a Pokemon held a fossil and used the gts cloning glitch in gen4, would the fossils, when revived at the mining museum, have identical stats, natures, etc.?

I don't think it would to be honest - good question though.
I'm not sure so I won't answer, but I think that the IVs, Natures, ect. are calculated when the fossil is revived.
I agree with JarJar. Fossils are just items before they are revived, and thus they do not have any preset IVs and whatnot. All of that is determined when the fossil is revived.

No. All Pokemon from the fossil are taken as different Pokemon, so one could be a female and the other could be a Male, or one could have Adamant nature and the other could have Bold. Or there could be no duplicated fossil.
