PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I've been lookin through Pokemon to see how annoying I can make my teams, and I thought, "hey, why can't other people as well!!". So, this is where you can!!

What is a troll Pokemon I hear you ask? Well, it's a Pokemon that is so annoying that it makes your opponents tear their hair out and cry in a corner. It's so impossible to get passed you feel like never ever playing Pokemon again. And it's so funny to use you might die from laughter after seeing the amount of ragequits they cause.

So, basically, I want to see everyone's favorite annoying Pokemon and annoying sets to go with it!

Btw it can be any tier, but the sets have to actually work and cannot just be "in theory".

Please follow standard moveset thread guidelines when answering this question.

I'm just saying that if you want to win and annoy opponents at the same time, you'll probably get better movesets by Googling stall sample team.
I like using a Smeargle that knows Telekinesis and Smack Down with Recover and Thunder Wave :P
Hacked Shedinja with Sturdy Ability holding Lum Berry :)
You know what's trollolololy against trollolololy Pokemon? Taunt!
We did engage in a little bit of tomfoolery

An epic troll Pokemon to use is Shuckle. I always name it Shuck Norris and it can make people rage quit easily.

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Trait: Contrary
Evs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Spd
Bold Nature

  • Shell Smash
  • Power Split
  • Toxic
  • Infestation

Its a great bulky Pokemon and whats better than making it even bulkier. You use Shell Smash and gain Def and Spd
while losing Atk, Speed and Sp Atk. Then you trap him in with Infestation and use Toxic. Then you can criple the
opponent with Power Split and making it technically useless (if he is a physical attacker). Even if the opponent
gets a critical hit Shuckle has huge defenses so it can survive easily. It is very hard to bypass and it is very annoying.
Not for you at least.

shuck norris seems epic

I can't just not avoid this.

SubSwagger + Paralysis hax

Marshadow

Marshadow @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swagger
- Substitute
- Force Palm
- Spectral Thief

SwagThief is already a nasty combo, but what makes it even more scary is by putting Force Palm, which has a 30% chance to paralyze. Now, paralyzed and confused opponents have quite low odds of moving which just makes it annoying as hell. You keep the trollness factor while not entirely forgoing the unresisted Fighting + Ghost STAB combination.

Replay in a Smogon tournament match where paralysis literally cripples Ho-Oh and causes ragequit [a bit of harsh language warning]

by
And you steal attack boost from Swagger

Shuckle (F) @Leftovers
Trait:Sturdy
EVs: 56 Sp.D/ 200 Def./ 252 Hp
Relaxed Nature
-Toxic
-Stealth Rock
-Rest
-Swagger

Never-ending cycle of health, high-powed confusion crippling your opponent, on top of the fact that they're gonna get hit with stealth rock and possibly a toxic too. With Shuckle's incredible defenses it's almost impossible to kill this pain in the .....! One of my favorite Pokemon to use to frustrate my unfortunate opponent

1vs1

Poke'slash (Sandslash) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Rush
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
Super Fang
Toxic
Attract
Earthquake

TROLOL.

Actually not hugely trolly, but definitely annoying.

Beware the almighty Shuckle
So this set relies on residual damage and works best with both Aqua Ring and Ingrain Baton passed to it.
Shuckle (M/F) @ Leftovers/Big Root/Binding Band/Grip Claw
252 HP/252 DEF/6 SP.DEF
-Sand Tomb
-Toxic
-Protect
-Power Split

Basic Shuckle stalling set here with some essential differences. Firstly is Sand Tomb. You may be thinking, "Why the hell would you use Sand Tomb?" Sure the low Base Power isn't ideal, but with Shuckle, you're not going to be doing much damage anyway so it really doesn't matter.
However the Base Power isn't what we're interested in here, it's the secondary effects. Sand Tomb prevents switching and causes residual damage. What that means is, chuck on a toxic and just WATCH as the opponents health just shreds itself. The last two move slots are pure preference, but Power Split helps to neutralise the opponents attack stat and Protect stalls for HP recovery and Toxic damage.

The Item choice for this set is pretty much up to what you want Shuckle to handle best. Leftovers is obviously for recovery, whereas Binding Band Doubles the passive damage from Sand Tomb, and Grip Claw means that they'll always be trapped for 5 turns. Big Root is slightly more situational. The idea for Big Root is that you have a teammate Baton Pass both Ingrain and Aqua Ring to Shuckle. Big Root increases the Health returned from these two sources by 30% each, so according to my math, Shuckle would receive 1/6th or so of it's health back at the end of each turn.

So yeah, that's my troll Shuckle Set. It's also worth noting that this set is walled to high hell and back by any Flying/Poison, Flying/Steel or Poison or Steel with Levitate. Common Pokemon that fit into this category are: Skarmory, Crobat/Golbat amd Gengar so watch out for those guys

by
You DO realize that power split leaves Shuckle defensless to a constrict from a level 1 frillish right?

bulk up Gallade
Gallade @ leftovers
Gallade
trait: Justified
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 Atk/ 252 SpD
Nature: Careful
- Bulk up
- Drain punch
- ThunderPunch
- Subsitute

switch in to a toxic staller or setup fodder, start bulking up and the fun begins. you can also run the exact same set on hitmonchan

Tbh, I don't see what's so trolly here. :/

this pokemon is indeed annoying and very hard to take down.
and then came Choice specs Tornadus, and there was one troll less :3
wrong tier though

SubRoost Articuno
Articuno @ Leftovers
Articuno
Trait: pressure
EVs: 252 SpD/ 4 Def/ 252 HP
Nature: Calm
- Roost
- Subsitute
- Toxic
- Ice Beam

Switch in on a toxic staller or something, toxic and then start using sub and roost

JarJar posted a variation of this set, but I like this better.
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Vaporeon
Trait: Hydration
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 Def/ 252 SpD
Nature: Calm ( +SpD -Atk)
- Scald
- Toxic
- Acid Armor
- Rest

Josh has a rain tank set extremely similar to this but I revised it to be better IMO. Just one acid armor makes it near impossible to take down

by
It also makes it set up fodder so usually Roar is the better option.

I can't believe no one has posted this yet. It just goes to show how uncommon it is nowadays. I give you one of my all time favorite ubers Pokemon:

Shaymin Sky@ leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Timid (+spe -att)
EV's: 252 spe/ 244 hp/ 12 sp att
Leech Seed
Substitute
Air Slash
Seed Flare

Once he gets going, he is EXTREMELY hard to stop. SubSeed really adds up, and as the only grass types you see are Arceus and Ferrothorn, you won't have much trouble getting them up. Air slash brings a massive 60% flinch rate. Seed flare helps break down even the bulkiest special walls because of its great defense drop rate. This thing is the definition of annoying.

This isn't a joke set. This is jumpluff in ou:

Jumpluff@ leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Chlorophyll
Nature: Jolly (+spe -sp att)
EV's: 252 spe/ 232 hp/ 24 att
U-turn
Leech Seed
Encore
Sleep Powder/ Stun Spore

With sun support, jumpluff becomes INSANELY fast. Only a select few scarfed Pokemon outspeed him. He fits extremely well on sun teams as he is immune to the ground type moves your Heatran, Ninetales, etc. all hate. He can come in on a ground or water move and use encore, which is going to force a lot of switches. He can then use leech seed, stun spore, or sleep powder on the switch in. It can then u-turn into the appropriate Pokemon to deal with said switch in. Jumpluff destroys momentum, while grabbing some for you. Leech seed can also easily be passed on to Pokemon that will better take advantage of it, such as CM Reuniclus.

Well, I hope you liked my annoying grass types. :D

ok, I know a similar has already been posted, but this will work for a much longer time, due to gothis recycle+leppa berry+ protect troll combo
__
gothitelle
enter image description here
+
durant
enter image description here
__

ok. heres the set:

durant (lv 1 if you want) @ focus sash
who cares? nature
trait: truant
EVs: who cares?
moveset:

  • etertraiment

use entertraiment and die
_____

gothitelle (M)@ leppa berry
calm nature
trait: shadow tag
252 hp/ 252 sp.def/ 4 def
moveset:
- protect
- recycle
- fake tears/ another non damaging move with much pp

easy: you use protect when your Pokemon can attack and fake tears when your opponent "loafs around". recycle when protect has 0 pp and you can troll opponents for 500 turns.
__

problem?

I was about to say that the Nature and EVs do matter, then I saw the moveset. Also, Taunt.

Works best in 1v1
Cofagrigus @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def
- Trick
- Disable

:D

by
I don't get it
Trick choice scarf onto opposing Poke, then use disable on the move they choose. Insta-struggle :D
But the opponent will KO cofagrigus in 1 hit
@Blazo: Cofagrigus has bulk, so it will probaly not be OHKO'ed nor 2HKO'ed so it could work, but If you face ghost or dark type will it probaly not work in 1v1 but its was a good idea:)

YOU NEED BOTH OF THESE!!!
enter image description here

Spinda @ Choice Band
Ability: Contrary
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Assist
- Water Pulse

Smeargle
Ability: Own Tempo
Shiny: Yes
- V-create

use assist every time when using spidna if a fire type comes out use water pulse and the ability contrary say you got an attack boost it will lower it instead and vice versa

NUMBER 1: SWAGNEMITE!!! GET REKT (unless you have immunity or your steel type)

magnemite @ berry juice
ability: sturdy
evs: no difference
nature: no difference
LEVEL 1 ONLY
--recycle
--protect
--toxic

basically toxic, you survive 'coz of sturdy, berry juice to max hp, recycle, you survive 'coz of sturdy, berry juice to max hp, recycle, you survive 'coz of sturdy... IT GOES ON AND ON

PS: it will only work if you nickname it: SWAGNEMITE !!!

NUMBER 2: The banned klefki
klefki@ leftovers
ability: prankster
evs: 252 hp, 252 def, 4spdef
nature: impish
--thunder wave
--swagger
--sub
--foul play

This set got swagger BANNED in ubers (smogon rule, so you can still use it) because of this. swagger, raise their attack and confuse (confusion damage is based of attack stat), paralyze them so the have small chance to attack, set up sub so IF they actually get an attack of you will soak it up, foul play, damage is based of their attack stat (which has been raised by the swagger). The whole time you will be restoring hp from lefties while the cant attack. troll.

Porygon2

This is my favorite stall Pokemon because it can just sit behind a sub, and deal a status while recovering HP. lol. The Eviolite boosts the defense obviously and download is there for the off chance you get a SpA boost. Hope you troll people!

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Conversion 2
- Substitute
- Tri Attack

by

I'm honestly surprised no one has posted this one yet.

Nosepass @ Berry Juice
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 1
EVs: 36 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Def / 0 SpA / 0 SpD
- Pain Split
- Protect
- Toxic
- Sandstorm

Pain split. Pain split. Pain split. Keep clicking this move until the opponent gets low enough to be knocked out by toxic/sandstorm. The IVs are there just in case somehow an attack does so little it doesn't bring you into berry juice range. WARNING: This Pokemon does NOT like hazards. Keep them off the field for this guy. Also, it is completely walled by steel types and hates multi-hit moves, just like any other sturdy user. Other than that, it's a pretty decent set.
