Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

(Emerald) Can a male Pokemon to pass on a Move Tutor move to eventually hatch a Pokemon with the same move?

I apologize for the awkward way this question was worded, but I can't really think of a better way to phrase this. The situation this relates to will help with understanding, though.

I have a male Grovyle that has learned DynamicPunch from the Move Tutor. I would like to hatch a Treecko that knows DynamicPunch. Is there any possible way to pass on this move through breeding so that I can eventually hatch another Treecko that knows DynamicPunch?

Just breed it with Ditto. The offspring will be a Treecko, and since the father knew a move tutor move the baby could know, then it will have Dynamic Punch. Or at least that is how I think it works.

Except I don't think DynamicPunch is one of Treecko's Egg Moves.
No, it isn't. However TMs and Move Tutor moves can also be passed on through breeding. Look here if you are still unsure: http://pokemondb.net/mechanics/breeding
