Will Helping Hand affect Flash Fire?

Question

Lets say I have a Flareon with the move Helping hand, and the ability Flash Fire. (This is a double battle) Next to it, is a slower Chimchar. If it uses a fire type attack on Flareon, right after being boosted by Helping Hand, does that increase the effects of Flash Fire?

Flash Fire only increases the power of Fire moves once, and always by a fixed amount (50% more powerful). If used again it won't boost any more, but only grant Fire immunity. Helping Hand will thus not increase the effect of Flash Fire.
