Blaziken has nearly equal attacking stats, so why not use Flamethrower or Heat Wave over Fire Punch? The difference will be incredibly Minuscule. If your Blaziken has a nature that supports the use of Physical moves, though, then give it Blaze Kick, since it's a little stronger, and has a high Critical Hit rate.

I also agree that Sunny Day shouldn't be there, seeing as Blaziken has no Defense and cannot set up. Replace it with Stone Edge or Thunderpunch for coverage against Flying-types.

Since you can't set up Sunny Day for Solarbeam, don't keep it. Instead, take advantage of that Fighting-subtype and give Blaziken Sky Uppercut for reliable STAB that can hit cheap Flying-types who try to take to the sky.

Finally, Night Slash or Shadow Claw cover the same weakness, Psychic, so get one of them. Overall, this was a fair moveset!

For an item, give Blaziken either a Wide Lens or Zoom lens. Wide Lens will give Uppercut, Stone Edge, and Blaze Kick 10% more Accuracy. A Zoom Lens will up the Critical Hit Rate of Stone Edge, Blaze Kick, and Night Slash / Shadow Claw to about 38%; over 1/3 of the time!

For Night Slash and SHadow Claw, you have to decide whether Fighting reisting it or Normal being immune is worse.

Blaziken really doesn't have the speed to set things up. So I don't think he should have sunny day, he just doesn't have the defenses for it. He is strong in both offensive stats, so hidden power (grass) could be a replacement. If you want to use him in gen V when he has the speed boost ability, this might work a bit better, you could even use protect to stall for a few turns to boost up his speed.

Why no one mentioned the counter Blaziken?

Blaziken@Focus sash

Trait:Speed boost

Nature:Adamant/Jolly

Evs:252Atk, 252 Speed

  • Blaze kick
  • Counter
  • Protect
  • Shadow claw/Night Slash

Strategy: Well, due to Blaziken's small defenses he'll survive the first hit hanging on his focus sash. Generaly with 80 spedd it attacks 2nd so it will unleash a powerfull counter. Speed boost raises his speed so at the next turn he'l be faster than the opponent pokemon and re-use conter and faint it. Protect is here if the opponent throws out a pokemon which has really higher speed than Blaziken, like Deoxys etc. It will survive this turn, raise its speed and at the next turn where he is speeder he will attack. Blaze kick is here for another STAB and shadow claw/night slash for coverage.

Blaziken:@Air Balloon or Focus Sash or Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ev's 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 Hp

Ability: Speed Boost

Moveset:

Hone Claws - Stats, and goes amazingly with this set

Blaze Kick - Not perfect accuracy, but has good power and a chance to flinch

Hi Jump Kick - Awesome power, but lacks accuracy, that is fixed by hone claws

Stone Edge or Earthquake - More Hone Claws abuse, or good coverage

Role: Physical Sweeper

Item: Evolite
Abilty: Speed-Boost
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Role: Bulky Sweeper

Bulk-up: Boost your Attack and Defense
Brick-break: STAB
Flare-blitz: STAB and all out power
Shadow-Claw/Rock-slide: Coverage over Psychic Types/ Coverage over Flying Types

I have found this guy surprisingly effective(I got my old computer to work long enough to test him on PO) he even held his own against a couple of OU Pokemon(not saying he should be used in OU obviously). He is a nice and Bulky sweeper.

Stone Edge: Deals with Flying types.

HP Ice: Type coverage against Ground, Flying, and Dragon type foes.

Fire Blast: With mixed stats, Blaziken needs its most powerful non-Overheat/Blast Burn STAB.

Superpower: Same as with Fire Blast, but Physical.

You can also use HP Electric to deal with Water and Flying types, but you don't get that Dragon coverage. Vacuum Wave is powerful priority under Blaziken. You also might feel tempted to use Focus Blast, but it isn't the best idea.

Combusken (M) @ Focus Sash

Trait: Speed Boost

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd

Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)

  • Protect
  • Overheat
  • Brick Break
  • Shadow Claw

Standard set for NU - RU, not MC.

Protect gets this guy's speed up a notch, and he still has his Focus Sash to fall back on, although I would consider him to be a better lead-killer.
Overheat knocks out a lot of opponents for the OHKO there, not a lot in the lower tiers that can take it neutral. Brick Break takes down dual screeners and such, with some nice Physical Fighting type STAB might I add. And Shadow Claw makes for some neat coverage, mostly for taking out Psychics, and Ghosts after 1 Overheat.

my blaziken:
nature: hasty (due to defense still being good enough)
ability: blaze (no torchic in dream world yet)
moves:
hi-jump kick (stab)
blaze kick (stab+critical or i might go for flare blitz)
bulk-up (covers hasty defense loss)
brave bird (against other fighting types)
what should i get to bench brave bird? earthquake or stone edge?
role: quick powerful physical beast

What's the item it's holding?
i personally don't rely on items that much. but maybe either a flame plate to boost blaze kick (i might replace it with flare blitz) or a life orb. if i can get my bleedin' hands on one. :L
Items can be the difference between victory and loss.
hmm...good point. i might give it the berry that raises speed in a pinch (idk the name) cuz i dont have a speed boost blaziken.

Blaziken (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Speed Boost

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)

  • Protect
  • Swords Dance
  • Hi Jump Kick
  • Flare Blitz/Shadow Claw

Protect is used to get the Speed Boost, reliably.
Swords Dance can be used to set up, but it needs a pretty good chance to do it.
Hi Jump Kick is good STAB move.
Flare Blitz can be paired with Groudon for very good power and is STAB. Shadow Claw is used to get perfect neutral coverage alongside Hi Jump Kick while also hidding Giratina, Flare Blitz is usually the better option though.
