Johto Route 44 and headbutting?

Question

For some reason, I've spent about 15 minutes headbutting trees on this route, and no Pokemon have fallen off.

Am I just unlucky, or are there no Pokemon on the trees in this route? Bulbapedia lists there as being Spearow, Aipom & Heracross.

So, if you're hitting the same tree over and over again then this might be a dud tree. Try hitting some other trees. :)
