I've been having problems with Charizard X more than Y; the only thing I can think of is offensive pivot Landorus-T. Are there any other options?

And no, Heatran is not an option because Charizard X carries Earthquake.

well, scarfed dragon types is generally the best ones
"Checks and counters for Mega Charizard X include strong, physically defensive Pokemon capable of taking a boosted attack and phaze him out, forcing him to take more Stealth Rock damage. RestTalk Gyarados works as a solid check with Intimidate as it is able to phaze Charizard out with Dragon Tail. Hippowdon can take any attack, Slack Off the damage and then phaze Charizard out with Roar or Whirlwind. Choice Scarf Garchomp is able to revenge kill at +1 as it's faster and can kill with an Outrage. If you are using Adamant Dragon Dance, you need to be wary of Choice Scarf Salamence who outspeeds you after one Dragon Dance. Azumarill can come in on any Dragon-type attack, take a hit, and OHKO with a Play Rough after Stealth Rock."
If it's got one D-Dance going then it's the same speed as scarf Salamence.
It can OHKO Multiscale Dragonite with Outrage if it's got 1 D-Dance.

I'm saying this assuming you need to switch and therefore allow Charizard X to set up.
Hmm Garchomp. Now that's good. Also why aren't you answering this?
As with anything weak to it, MegaZard X hates SR and Charizard hates it more so get that and keep it up. Then depending on whether it carries ThunderPunch or Earthquake Azumarill and Heatran can both handle it effectively. Anything that can tank a hit and kill it next turn is what you want, sadly that's not much.
Heatran Air Ballon screws Charizard X over
It can't Flare Blitz because of Flash Fire, and Dragon claw won't OHKO it without being a crit or having +6 attack

Garchomp

Garchomp with or without Scarf outspeeds and OHKO Mega-Charizard X with Earthquake, Stone Edge and Outrage.

Weakness Policy Dragonite

Multiscale Weakness Policy Dragonite resists Dragon Claw and gets a boost on the way. After a Dragon Dance, it outspeeds and OHKO Mega-Charizard X with either Earthquake or Dragon Claw.

Haze and Phaze

Actually, there is a pun in this strategy. Dragonite fulfills the role of both if Forretress can setup Stealth Rock and hopefully at least one or two layer of Spikes, if Custap Lead with Sturdy. Dragonite has access to Haze to eliminate Mega-Charizard X's boosts, or it boasts Roar for phazing and Stealth Rock and Spikes will damage Charizard when it comes back.

Bulky and Offensive Water-type Pokémons

Hey, I point at you Mega-Gyarados and Azumarill. RestTalk Gyarados works as a solid check with Intimidate as it is able to phaze Charizard out with Dragon Tail. Azumarill, on a similar note, can come in on any Dragon-type attack, take a hit, and OHKO with a Play Rough after Stealth Rock.

Hippowdon

Hippowdon can Slack Off any damage and phaz with Whirlwind.

Landorus Incarnate

Landorus can Intimidate Mega-Charizard X and KO it with Earthquake.

Taunt

Mega-Charizard X is a force to be reckoned with, but if it cannot setup, then it will not OHKO Mega-Aerodactyl who can Taunt and OHKO with Stone Edge.

Heatran

Heatran is a capable counter to Mega-Charizard X but only if Charizard is locked into one move by the use of Encore, or if Earthquake's been PP Stalled or something. Otherwise, Sash Heatran can retaliate with Earth Power.

I can't think of other counters.
I hope this helps :)

~ Sincerely yours, Blitz of Justice.

Omg I just realised that Whimsicott can Encore trap the thing and Leech Seed stall. :P
But, you can have Sticky Web setup and  garchomp will get a speed drop
True..
You forgot to mention that dragonite has a nasty extreme speed as a last resort

Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower / Return
- Waterfall / Return
Item Attached: Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
Azumarill can easily counter mega charizard X. If you have a Pokemon with stealth rock, use that move first then switch with azumaril, then OHKO it with Play rough.
This is Azumarill's flagship set. The same thing it has been using ever since Diamond and Pearl gave it Aqua Jet. Choice Band Azumarill is a mighty sledgehammer that only a tiny handful of things can even hope to switch in on. Due to Azumarill's Fairy / Water typing it has little to fear from Dragons or Fires as it easily brushes them away. Aqua Jet packs enough power to OHKO any offensive Pokemon weak to it while Play Rough takes a bite out of anything defensive enough to try and stand up to it. Superpower smashes a giant hole in Ferrothorn who otherwise can take any move on this set. Waterfall is a good power move to slam Hippowdon, Skarmory, Forretress, and Landorus for massive damage. A final option is Return (or Double Edge). This move is almost exclusively to hit Mega Venusaur and Tentacruel hard and like Superpower won't see much use compared to your STAB moves.

You forget to mention that

Quagsire @Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Nature: Relaxed
252 Def, 252 HP, 4 Sp.def

Curse/toxic/Protect
Recover
Waterfall/scald
Earthquake

It's unaware ability renders Charizard X pretty much useless, as it nullifies Dragon Dance attack set. Charizard wont be able to throw much at it thanks to It's bulky defence stat and curse.
Curse also can set up a mean Waterfall/Earthquake, crippling it even worse. Toxic is a good staller as well against checks like Rotom Wash, even though a Rotom Wash can two hit KO it with Hydro Pump (even with Leftovers Recovery), it tends to miss sometimes, It's only major concern are charizard Y and powerful special attacking grass type moves. Even 0 SpA Alakazam Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Quagsire: 476-560 (120.8 - 142.1%) can guarantee a OHKO. Even 0 Atk Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 388-460 (98.4 - 116.7%) has 93.8% chance to OHKO. Also forgot to mention that basically ANY Sp. Attack move will deal alot of damage if there is no resistance or immuntity to it.

Mega Gyardos

It has a base stat of 155 atk and should be able to survive whatever charizard throws at it, while setting up dragon dance. It has a base stat of 109 def and 130 sp. def.

Mega Gyarados
Adamant
252 atk/252 speed/4hp

Dragon Dance-Setup
Waterfall-STAB
Ice Fang-Type Coverage
Earthquake-Powerful Move

With a +1 Atk, it should kil charizard X

Hope I helped!

Mega Gyarados can't hold a Life Orb Blazo, it has to be holding a Gyaradosite.
Lol, that and it can't take a dragon claw for the most part and will definetely not tank an outrage
Lmao that too :P
