What happens when you use a revive on a fainted Shedinja?

Revive always gives back at least 1 HP which for Shedinja is all of it.

But doesn't it only have 1 hp?

and revive only revives a pokemon to half of it's original hp?

and half of 1 is 0.5.

I know it sounds odd but I tried it on mine while battling and I thought it would bring it to 1/2 of a HP but
it gave it 1.

Pokemon can only have a whole number of HP, and the minimum without being fainted is 1HP, so Revive has to restore at least 1HP.
