I recently got the Shiny Charm in my X Version, and I'm thinking about chaining (Both Consecutive Fishing, and PokeRadar). I'm just curious: Are the odds increased due to the Shiny Charm, or are they the same odds?

Example: Would I still have to do a chain of 40 using the PokeRadar in order to get the highest odds (1 in 200)?

Thanks!

We don't know this.
Still can't hurt to ask, right?
Right. Then it will get 40 upvotes and a bunch of half-assed answers.

The odds are definitely increased because the shiny charm boosts the chance of finding a shiny and chaining boosts a chance of finding a shiny too, so you will get a HUGE (not that huge) of a chance of finding a shiny.
Hope this helps!
