Whats the girl in the batle forniter trying to tell me ?

in pokemon emerald:

so in one of the battle forniter rooms\houses there is a little girl and she goes all :
"your pokemon will keep on fighting but when it will get ouchies it will turn sneaky " (not sure she said it exactly like that )

so is it like the personalety or something ?
