Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

How do stats work when a Pokemon is increased to level 50 in a Wifi battle?

So if I have a level 18 Smeargle, will it appear as Level 50 in the Wifi Battle, with Level 50 stats after EV's and all? Also, if I have a not yet EV trained Pokemon at Level 8 via accidentally leaving it in the daycare too long, will its stats appear as if it had started training at level 8 or level 1? If you are unclear on what I am asking, put in the comments and I will specify. I know that if I read this I would have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.

Stats appear as if the Pokemon was Level 50. Natures and IVs are taken into account the whole way through. | Source: Experience

For EVs, take how many EVs you have in said stat and divide that by 8. That's the boost in the stat you get. You don't gain any EVs through leveling up to Level 50 through WiFi battles. (So, essentially, EVs are counted as if the Pokemon was Level 50 with the current EVs you have on the Pokemon.). | Source: Experience

Level 8, but it does not matter as the Level 50 stats are the same no matter what the Pokemon's level is. You also don't gain any EVs through leveling up in Day Care, as the Day Care raising your Pokemon requires no effort on the Pokemon's part. | Source: Experience

That level 18 would not gain any EVs by being elevated to level 50; the difference its stats have is determined by the Pokemon's base stats, IVs, and the EVs the Pokemon had already acquired.

The same thing goes for the level 8. Its EVs would be whatever EVs it has acquired. So if it was left in the Day Care since level 1, it wouldn't have any EVs since the Day Care gives you no EVs. However, if it was raised the "normal" way by just battling ordinarily, it would have all the EVs it earned for those battles. It would not lose any EVs or gain any EVs by being elevated to level 50.
