I have noticed that the majority of the Pokemon that get frozen are water type, I was wondering if water type Pokemon are more likely to be frozen than the other types?

You are probably noticing that because there are more water type pokemon than any other type.
I think there's more dragon types now than before. strange for so many ppl to think it's water though

Put simply, no.
You probably asked this because you see more water types freeze, that's mot likely because people tend to switch into a water type Pokemon more than other types(even if resisted) when they expect an ice type attack(most of the time ice beam).

That being said, of course you would see more water types being frozen.
