I love this little guy! Gale wings makes him one of the most epic Little Cup players.

Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 132 Spd / 128 HP
Moves:
Acrobatics
Overheat
Flame Charge
Roost

Acrobatics has great power, goes first, and gets STAB. Because Overheat is the only Special Attack, it can be used safely. Flame Charge can be a good move for inflicting damage and raising Speed. Roost resores HP.

U-turn/Overheat/Flame Charge/Roost/Tailwind
U-turn is for scouting, Overheat to hit the physically bulky steel types, Flame Charge is to hit steel types with an SD up, Roost is to keep yourself at high hp and preserve for later, and tailwind is just before you die you can speed up your allies for 3 turns.

Good answer!  I do kind of like this strategy.
Get rid of return, though.  Acrobatics gets STAB and has higher base power anyway, and those two moves don't really have any rock or steel coverage.

See what you did there.  Anyway, the reason JackInABox didn't have Fletchling hold anything is because it increases the power of Acrobatics to 110.
Oh right. *facepalm* Temporarily forget the effect of Acrobatics.

an interesting alternative to the standard sets, as with apicot berry it can get past both offensive chinchou by nailing it on the switch, and resttalk chou by using swords dance.

196+ Atk Apicot Berry Fletchling Natural Gift (100 BP Ground) vs. 0 HP / 52 Def Chinchou: 20-24 (83.3 - 100%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

+2 196+ Atk Apicot Berry Fletchling Natural Gift (100 BP Ground) vs. 76 HP / 212+ Def Chinchou: 32-38 (128 - 152%) -- guaranteed OHKO


except for this set, as it needs to outspeed chou, the proper EVs (as the other two answers don't have them) for physical fletch are 156 HP / 196 Atk / 92 Def / 64 SpD with an adamant nature, and the proper EVs for mixed are 156 HP / 200 Atk / 92 Def / 40 SpA with a naughty nature.
