Yeah in the anime its a big difference. But in the games it only affects fighting if you use Return (higher power w/ higher happiness) or Frustration (higher power w/ lower happiness).

In The Anime Yes It Does. Wierd Huh? But when Ash Says: "You Can Do It ____!" Then They USually Pwn All.
