Diglett in the anime?

what happens when diglett is sent out of its pokeball? When it is sent out does it "crawl" into its hole or something? I know that it doesn't have a hole in the pokeball for a fact. So what happens?

Think someone asked about what was under Diglett. Reply was, something like "We've also wondered that, a hand or something."

From Memory...

Basically, Pokeball opens, red light which happens with all Pokémon comes out beams out, hits ground, a hole suddenly appears in the ground with Diglett in it where the light hit.

Pokémon Logic at it's best. Now it has a hole in the Pokeball.
