Kyurem
Kyurem-Black @ Choice Band / Lum Berry
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Outrage
- Ice Beam
- Stone Edge / Substitute
- Fusion Bolt

Someone had to post a Black Kyurem Moveset, so I posted mine. I can easily see Black Kyurem being one of the most dangerous Pokemon in the Uber Metagame, and for good reason. The former 2 are STAB. Fusion Bolt is coverage against Kyogre really. Stone Edge is chosen if you decide to run Choice Band, while Substitute is if Lum Berry is decided.

Z crystals. Sorry, I had to.
iIs Black Kyurem's sp. atk. natural high or something? If it were me, I'd make him either physical or special, not both.
I've put Weakness Policy on my Kyurem-B. It didn't work out, like, pretty well, but it did someway
I would remove ice beam and replace it with freeze shock as black Kyurem is a physical type and have it as Adamant nature
It's meant to be a mixed set. Kyurem-B's coverage is awful, so it has to resort to Ice Beam. The only reason you would run a two-turn move is if you used Power Herb (which is a waste) or were planning to consistently Dynamax it. It doesn't have Max Knuckle and often won't carry Dual Wingbeat, so there's no reason to Dynamax it over another Pokemon. This set is good the way it is.

Kyurem
Kyurem-White @ Life Orb
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse / Draco Meteor
- Fusion Flare
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Roost

Both Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor are STAB, it depends on if you want consistent damage or kind of hit and run.
Fusion Flare is good at getting Steel types out of the way, like Ferrothorn and Forretress. No need for HP Fire anymore.
Ice Beam is nice STAB and gets some extra coverage. Blizzard is cool and all if you run Uber Hail.
Roost is excellent healing and an interesting option, Roost shrugs off Life Orb recoil and attacks.
Rapid spin support is also recommended.

You posted 8 minutes ago & you already have 2 up-votes. Baws
Indeed, upvotes where there almost immediately.
Question. If you use White Kyurem with max Hp and you use Roost, wouldn't it be way more hard to K.O White? I don't know, it just makes sense to me. cx
Not way harder, but Roost is mostly for healing damage from life orb and potential attacks.
I see, great moveset though. =]
Thanks
How the heck does this guy learn roost?!
I use this in my national DEX ag team after my calyrex-ice rider  sets up max hailstorm to sweep with blizzard and it works!

Once upon a time, Kyurem was created. He had great stats and a legendary status. But his typing was horrible and his physical movepool was sub-par. He hid in the giant chasm, hoping and praying that a hero would make him viable. Then, the DNA splicers came in to existence. And with these, Kyurem could fuse with one of the two heroes, the dragon of truth and the dragon of ideals. And when he traveled to the Galar region, two new heroes that he didn’t have to fuse with now help him-Dragon Dance and Icicle Spear. Fusing with the two dragons still made him more powerful, but now he could put up a better fight on the physical side when not fused.
Kyurem
Kyurem @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Icicle Spear
- Dragon Claw
- Iron Head

He wears Heavy-Duty Boots because stepping on rocks and spikes makes him scream and cry in agony. With Dragon Dance, he could preform a somehow-menacing dance to boost his agility and physical might. With Icicle Spear, he could throw large, sharp icicles at the opponent, but he has to hope that he can find more than 2 of them. With Dragon Claw, he can use his somewhat small claws and slash the opponent. And with Iron Head, he can hit the Fairies that usually strike fear in to his very heart.

+1 for the storytelling lol
Also maybe boots so it takes less rocks?
Good idea
I think Dragon Tail is the better move than Dragon Claw bc what if he's up against a steel type
Dragon Tail has negative priority so it's not better. @OP why do you need Dragon Claw when Icicle Spear already covers other Dragon-types? Having Roost or Substitute is better, and every phy DD Kyurem is Sub Roost DD Icicle Spear, and Iron Head is meh since Tapu Fini is neutral to it, and Unaware Clefable walls anyway.
because, as you can see, I made this a year ago.
+1 for storytelling
Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem actually used to be a massively powerful, fused mega-dragon, but the two sides of it's mind fought furiously. Finally, Reshiram and Zekrom split away from the original body, and it lay, nearly dead. Then, Ice started freezing in the gaps\wounds\whatever in it's body, reviving the original dragon. Since then, It's wanted to fuse with Zekrom and Reshiram once again, and restore itself into the chaotic beast it once was...(Literally, that's pretty much what it says in the game AND Pokemon Adventures).

Kyurem
Kyurem-White @ Life Orb / Choice Specs
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare
- Focus Blast
- Psychic / Draco Meteor

I don't know if any of you pre-ordered Japanese Black or White 2, but I did :D
482 SpA is so baws, and each of these moves gets dat powa. I personally prefer White Kyurem over Black, but that is your choice. Kyurem is still sexy.

Oh yeah! I can see White Kyurem going into uber but black might get stuck in OU
Choice specs* do you meen
I doubt it, I think this will may manage to get into ubers thanks to scarf and 180 special atk.
Zekrom has basically been given another 30 atk the number one kyogre counter has been buffed more hell definly be über.
Kyurem gets Earth Power from the move Tutor, so you'll probably want that over Focus Blast. Also, I wouldn't even consider Psychic. A neutral Draco Meteor does more damage. To the Steel/Fightings, Fusion Flare.
170 not 180 Blob :)
Honestly I think Black Kyurem is going to be an awesome Uber in the metagame. x] I think they're both equals in the Uber tier.

Trick Room Sweeper

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 SpA
Brave Nature
- Outrage
- Earth Power
- Fusion Bolt
- Ice Beam

0 IVs in Speed. With this Kyurem-B makes an effective Trick Room sweeper. A problem with it has always been its Speed stat. So this seeks to fix that. While this does allow Steel types such as Scizor and Ferrothorn to outspeed it, as well as Conkeldurr, these are Pokemon that would have already been able to counter Kyurem. So it doesn't matter. Outrage is STAB that 2HKOs almost everything in the game, only a few of the bulkiest Steel types (Skarmory) can avoid the guarenteed 2HKO (there is a chance to get the 2HKO though.) Earth Power is there to hit Bronzong, Jirachi, and Heatran, 2HKOing them (fully Special Defensive Heatran has a chance to get OHKOd with Rocks up, add Spikes to the mix to guarentee the OHKO.) Fusion Bolt hits your bulky Water types, and Skarmory. Ice Beam is there for Gliscor and Landorus-T.

This set is beastly

Most people don't use this thing in Nat Dex AG. sad However, I don't care, since this guy is a beast, compared to its lame pal Kyurem-Black.
Format: Nat Dex AG
Role: Fast Special Sweeper/ Dynamax Sweeper
K-Black is nothing (Kyurem-White) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Fusion Flare
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Flying]
While Hidden Power would be bad, it becomes Max Airstream after Dynamax, boosting its average Speed. Plus HP Flying after Dynamaxed has 105 BP, which is not bad. Modest nature can be used, however a Timid Nature is required to outspeed Zacian-Crowned and Calyrex-Shadow. Ice Beam is preferred over Ice Burn and Blizzard because Ice Burn should only be used for Power Herb or Icium Z. Power Herb is not much needed, and if you carry Icium Z you can't dynamax. And Blizzard can be chosen, since after dynamaxing, Max Hailstorm causes Hail to summon meaning you shall always hit. Although it would be situational. Fusion Flare is great coverage, hitting opposing Steel-types and Ice-types hard. Draco Meteor for its awesome power, plus Max Wyrmwind lowering opponent's attack to make up for its average 90 Defense, while its pretty bulky, with a HP of 125.
I hope you destroy a lot of opponents with this set!

Firium Z-Kyurem boosted special attacker

Nat Dex AG

Kyurem-White @ Firium Z
Ability: Turboblaze
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 180 HP / 252 SpA / 76 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fusion Flare
- Freeze-Dry
- Draco Meteor
- Roost

Inferno Overdrive Kyurem-White. Gonna melt those steel-types that dare crossing your path. I found this thing way underrated, there's nothing that can switch to its awesome coverage out of fairy-types which are now gonna be melted. It works in Nat Dex AG as well as USUM AG. but I prefer the former since Dusk Mane Necrozma is physically defensive instead of special. These calculations will make you feel why it's crazy:

  • 252+ SpA Kyurem-White Inferno Overdrive (180 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Prism Armor Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 366-432 (91.9 - 108.5%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
  • 252+ SpA Turboblaze Kyurem-White Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Groudon-Primal: 312-367 (91.4 - 107.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
  • 252+ SpA Turboblaze Kyurem-White Inferno Overdrive (180 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Zacian-Crowned: 466-550 (142.9 - 168.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
  • 252+ SpA Turboblaze Kyurem-White Freeze-Dry vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rayquaza-Mega in Strong Winds: 308-366 (87.7 - 104.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Now those 180 HP are really weird, but they allow you to tank some hits which is why I love it:

  • 252 Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 180 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-White: 356-421 (81.6 - 96.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 180 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-White: 301-355 (69 - 81.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252 SpA Kyogre-Primal Origin Pulse vs. 180 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem-White in Heavy Rain: 172-203 (39.4 - 46.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
  • 0 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Sunsteel Strike vs. 180 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-White: 350-414 (80.2 - 94.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Since they turn a potential OHKO/2HKO to 2HKO/3HKO, I invested 180 EVs in HP. Rest are put into Spe so that you can outspeed some important things. Run Freeze Dry if you want to hit Primal Kyogre or Arceus-Water, else Ice Beam works fine too.

[Gen 8] Anything Goes

There exists mixed Kyurem-Black...so not why mixed Kyurem-White?

Role: Mixed Sweeper

Kyurem-White @ Life Orb
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 92 SpA / 164 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fusion Flare
- Outrage
- Stone Edge

Mixed sets = double destruction. Physical hits destroy that menacing Chansey, Ho-Oh, other bulky walls while Fusion Flare allows to 2HKO or OHKO most steel-types in the tier. Dragon Dance acts as a way to boost your average speed, allowing to outsped Zacian-Crowned as well as Calyrex-Shadow.

Fusion Flare hits harder even without any SpA investment to a physically Defensive Necrozma Dusk-Mane than a +1 Shadow Claw with Max Atk investment does. As Max Flare, it OHKOes Zacian-Crowned as well as 2HKOing Necrozma Dusk Mane without sun. Outrage is strong STAB, while Stone Edge OHKOes the crap of Ho-Oh. 164 Spe with Timid Nature allows to hit 439, outspeeding Calyrex-Shadow with Max Speed as well as Zacian-C. Max Atk because its SpA of 170 is already gigantic. Rest are put into SpA to maximize Fusion Flare damage.

The calculations part

  • 252 Atk Life Orb Turboblaze Kyurem-White Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Ho-Oh: 432-510 (104 - 122.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

  • +1 252 Atk Life Orb Turboblaze Kyurem-White Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 653-769 (91.4 - 107.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

I don't justify using Shadow Claw over Fusion Flare because it hits like a scratch against the mighty steel-lion.

  • 252 Atk Life Orb Kyurem-White Shadow Claw vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Prism Armor Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 88-103 (22.1 - 25.8%) -- 72.1% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock

Not even a complete 4HKO...that's pretty bad. Well Prism Armor can't be ignored :s

  • 92 SpA Life Orb Kyurem-White Fusion Flare vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Prism Armor Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 220-259 (55.2 - 65%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Obviously, Fusion Flare is better than Shadow Claw. Hasty Nature so that you don't worsen match-up against Kyogre which you aren't aiming to outsped.

So, that's the set. I worship Kyurem-White because it's really good :D

No love for Kyurem I see
Well Kyurem is pretty epic and can run a sub roost set better than any other Pokemon.
Surprising this page has no Sub Roost sets already.

Kyurem @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 52 HP / 232 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Roost

This set is incredibly easy to use. The idea is that you set up the sub coming in on a Pokemon that will almost be forced to switch like a Gliscor fearing the Ice Beam or you can use it on Pokemon that are likely going to try and wear you down with status such as Blissey. You can Roost up if needed. Thanks to Kyurems decent bulk and above average HP it can take common attacks such as Volt Switch and U-turn. It may not have a useful typing
but it does grant it some very common resistances such as a Water resistance and an Electric resistance. Ice Beam can be used over Dragon Pulse but I tend to use Dragon pulse to hit common Pokemon like Politoed for some decent damage. Dragon Pulse is Kyurems only stab and will hit most Pokemon for neutral damage and those which it doesn't such as Heatran and Ferrothorn are nailed by Focus Miss. Focus Blast also acts as an unreliable check to Tyranitar who over wise would tank every hit and hit back hard. The EVs give Kyurem a nice 404 HP stat which allows it to make 101 HP subs meaning Pokemon like Blissey will have to Seismic Toss twice to break the sub which can be really useful. The speed EVs allow it to out speed Adamant Landorus who can be a massive threat. Smogon has an alternative spread with more investment in Speed but similar to this sets spread it is very situational (not even a situation you would put yourself in). Alternatively you could run max Special Attack and put the rest into Speed which maximizes your power but at the loss of some speed you will almost never need (204 Speed EVs).

Gen 9 National Dex Monotype Loaded Dice + Dragon Dance (Ice)

Kyurem-Black @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Icicle Spear
- Fusion Bolt
- Roost / Dragon Claw

I know this is similar to other Dragon Dance Kyurem-Black sets, but I wanted to post one that utilizes Gen 9 mechanics. This set is used in Gen 9 National Dex Monotype on ice teams, as Kyurem-Black at the time of posting this is unbanned(for now...). You could use this on Dragon teams with Cyclizar, but Ice teams has tools to make this thing incredibly dangerous.

In Gen 9 National Dex Monotype, Hail is replaced with Snow. Snow gives a defense boost to Ice-types while snow is up. Ice Mono teams use Aurora Veil, which is basically Light Screen and Reflect in one move. The defense buff from Snow and Aurora Veil halving damage makes Kyurem-Black so happy that it expresses its happiness with a ritual known as Dragon Dance, allowing it to raise its attack and speed stat. Icicle Spear is used as Ice STAB and is now scary thanks to Loaded Dice. For those who don't know, Loaded Dice makes the holder's 5 hit multi-hit moves always hit at least 4 times. This means that as long as you have Loaded Dice, you will always have a 100BP or 120BP Ice move. Fusion Bolt is used as coverage and forms the BoltBeam(or IciBolt?) combo, something Ice teams always appreciate having. Roost is used to allow Kyurem-Black to stay in longer. Dragon Claw can be used instead if you need Dragon STAB.

Terastallization has been banned from Gen 9 Monotype. https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/terastallizing-in-monotype.3711362/
The moveset is for Nat Dex Mono, not Gen 9 Mono.
That's what I get for not paying attention :P

I want to preface this by saying that this is a VERY niche set, but I feel like this is still worth mentioning.

Gen 9 National Dex Dedicated Stallbreaker

Kyurem @ Loaded Dice / Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Icicle Spear
- Freeze-Dry

This is a late-game Pokemon that can singlehandedly destroy most Stall teams given sufficient chip from its teammates. Substitute allows it to block status, notably Burn from Mega Sableye but also the plentiful Thunder Waves and Toxics. Dragon Dance and Icicle Spear allow Kyurem to break past walls like non Iron Defense Corviknight. Freeze-Dry hits Dondozo and Quagsire hoping to use Unaware to block a supposed physical sweeping set. Tera Fairy both acts as general utility against other Dragons, notably Dragonium Z Dragonite, as well as resisting Body Press from Corviknight and Dondozo. Loaded Dice boosts Kyurem's damage output, notably reliably 2HKOing Mega Sableye at +1 and landing the same 2HKO at +0 against Specially Defensive Mega Sableye. Leftovers allow Kyurem to come in more towards the midgame, threatening out different Pokemon and potentially racking up hazard damage.

This Pokemon requires a lot of support to function, but it can certainly pay off for teams that require a stallbreaker that can also clean against most teams. For starters, there are certain Pokemon in stall and non-stall combined that this Kyurem has no chance against, notably Skeledirge (rare), Heatran, and Mega Scizor. Thus, teammates like Mega Charizard Y and Great Tusk can help break down these Pokemon early game. Great Tusk can also provide either Rocks or Rapid Spin support. In return, Kyurem threatens the Dragons that Charizard can't hit and that Great Tusk needs Ice Spinner for. Charizard also threatens huge damage on physically defensive Sableye, which allows Kyurem to have an easier time KOing it later. Galarian Slowking is a great Pokemon to pair alongside Kyurem, notably resetting opposing weather and turning on Snow. With Snow, Kyurem gets a 50% Defense boost unless it used its Tera, allowing easier setup opportunities. In return, Kyurem can threaten Rain staples like Pelipper and Mega Swampert with Freeze-Dry, which helps boost Glowking's advantage. Kyurem can even outright sweep if Steels like Archaludon and Ferrothorn are removed, which can be done to thanks to Charizard and Great Tusk. Finally, other sweepers like Volcarona and Ogerpon-Wellspring appreciate the removal of specific stall Pokemon. Volcarona has an easy time cleaning up if Blissey/Chansey and Clodsire are removed, and Ogerpon-Wellspring enjoys freely boosting without the threat of being burned by Sableye.

Here are some notable calcs to demonstrate Loaded Dice Kyurem's stallbreaking ability against common stall Pokemon.

+1 252+ Atk Kyurem Icicle Spear (100 BP) (4 hits) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Sableye-Mega: 168-204 (55.4 - 67.3%) -- approx. 2HKO
+1 252+ Atk Kyurem Icicle Spear (100 BP) (4 hits) vs. 248 HP / 184+ Def Corviknight: 204-240 (51.1 - 60.1%) -- approx. 2HKO
+1 252+ Atk Kyurem Icicle Spear (100 BP) (4 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 360-424 (51.1 - 60.2%) -- approx. 2HKO (360, 364, 364, 372, 376, 376, 384, 388, 396, 396, 400, 408, 408, 412, 420, 424)
4 SpA Kyurem Freeze-Dry (70 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Dondozo: 270-318 (53.5 - 63%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Gen 9 National Dex Monotype Physically Defensive SubRoost (Dragon)

Kyurem @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Def / 24 SpA / 16 SpD / 160 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Freeze-Dry
- Body Press
- Roost
- Substitute

Basically SubRoost Kyurem but with a more physically defensive approach and with Body Press over Earth Power to allow Kyurem to be a pain for (Sand) Ground teams in National Dex Monotype. This version of SubRoost Kyurem gives Dragon teams some sort of switch-in to Choice Band Mamoswine, a scary Pokemon for Dragon teams to deal with (or more accurately, a check since Banded Earthquake from Mamoswine still 2HKOes you). With this set, you outspeed and 2HKO Mamoswine with Body Press.(Jolly Banded Mamoswine is not real in NatDex Monotype) Body Press also allows Kyurem to hit Steel-types like Empoleon, Excadrill, and Hisuian Goodra super effectively. The rest of the set is standard SubRoost Kyurem stuff. Freeze-Dry allows Kyurem to bully Water-types such as Toxapex, Pelipper, Rotom-Wash, Ogerpon-Wellspring, and Mantine. Roost provides Kyurem with reliable HP recovery, and Substitute lets Kyurem take advantage of passive Pokemon such as Toxapex or Pokemon who can't do much to it such as Rotom-Wash, allowing Kyurem to avoid status and helps with allowing Kyurem to stallbreak. Heavy-Duty Boots is used as the item to prevent Kyurem from taking damage from entry hazards.

56 HP EVs is used to put Kyurem's HP at 405, allowing Kyurem to create 101 HP Substitutes to prevent them from immediately being broken by Seismic Toss from Chansey and Blissey. The reason this set uses max Defense EVs or using Max HP EVs and put the leftovers in Defense is to be able to maximize the damage Body Press damage you can do. For example, with 252 Defense EVs, you're able to 2HKO Mamoswine.

252+ Def Kyurem Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mamoswine: 180-212 (49.8 - 58.7%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO

Also, since this set is made as a check to Mamoswine, having Max HP makes this set a worse check to Choice Band Mamoswine.

160 Speed EVs allow Kyurem to outspeed Mega Swampert outside of rain, as well as outspeeding Pokemon that are running enough speed to outspeed Mega Swampert out of rain, such as Galarian Moltres on Flying-teams and Celebi on Psychic-teams. 16 Special Defense EVs combined with 56 HP EVs allow Kyurem to avoid the small OHKO chance of Moonblast from Enamorus if at full HP.

252 SpA Enamorus Moonblast vs. 56 HP / 16 SpD Kyurem: 342-404 (84.4 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Enamorus Moonblast vs. 56 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem: 350-414 (86.4 - 102.2%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

While this small change doesn't seem like much, it is useful to give Dragon teams another out vs Scarf Enamorus, as Hisuian Goodra can't always safely switch in due to Enamorus being able to threaten it with Superpower. The rest of the EVs are used in Special Attack EVs as leftover EVs.

Kyurem white is my favorite Kyurem transformation.

Kyurem-White @ Icicle Plate
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fusion Flare
- Ice Beam
- Ice Burn
- Dragon Pulse

A moveset for Black Kyurem is kinda hard because he hasn't got great moves, well here goes.

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Fusion Bolt
- Freeze Shock
- Iron Head

My Black Kyurem knows these moves.
Role: Physical Sweeper

Kyurem-Black @ Leftovers
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Freeze Shock
- Fusion Bolt

Outrage - STAB, good power, high accuracy
Dragon Claw - STAB, good move, good PP
Freeze Shock - Great power, STAB
Fusion Bolt - High Power and accuracy

I used this moveset to battle a White Kyurem, but it can be used for other battles too.

Since Kyurem-B is OU now because of a horrible movepool, it can be OP.

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature / Jolly Nature
- Roost
- Outrage
- Dragon tail
- Fusion Bolt

I put Fusion Bolt there for coverage since it doesn't get STAB and Dragon Tail for force switching after Spikes or Stealth Rock has been put up.

by

lol it wouldn't be OU if it was "OP".
It is mainly OU for the same reason Kyurem is BL. It has a horrid movepool as you mentioned but it also has a horrible typing for a Pokemon of these stats. Its Ice typing makes it vulnerable to Stealth Rocks which is almost always in play. This limits the amount of times it is able to switch in. Secondly its Dragon type can be easy to wall with 90% of all Ou teams either carrying a Heatran or Ferrothorn and its only decent Ice stab is Ice Beam which isn't bad coming off 120 or so Base special atk but it isn't great without investment.

Decent set btw though Roost may be needed with SR, LO and the damage you take from waiting to Dragon Tail. Roost can be used as the opponent is scared and is switching to a steel type. Alternativley you could swap Dragon Tail
1 vote

Honestly, I would use this for a Black Kyurem:

Kyurem-Black @ Choice Band
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage / Dragon Claw
- Fusion Bolt
- Freeze Shock / Ice Beam
- Sleep Talk

This set is simple: sit back, relax, and spam Outrage. Or you can run Dragon Claw for less power but the freedom to switch. However, even Defensive Landorus-T is 2HKOed by Outrage. Fusion Bolt is for coverage against bulky steel types, except Ferrothorn. If your opponent dares to switch, and you predict them, Freeze Shock hits so hard, it does half to Toxapex. However, Ice Beam could be used to be reliable ice STAB. Sleep Talk is used to be a sleep sponge.

The EVs are to nuke your opponents with overpowered physical attacks, while make use of Kyurem-Black's good bulk. Teravolt is the only ability Kyurem-B can have, and is a good one to, allowing Kyurem-Black to ignore abilities like sturdy and disguise. Finally, an Adamant nature is used to... well, it’s kind of obvious.

Hope this shreds many teams!

Calculations:

252+ Adamant Kyurem-B Fusion Bolt vs 252/252+ Skarmory: 248-292

Gen 7 OU

Kyurem-Black @ Icium Z
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 244 Atk / 12 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Freeze Shock
- Fusion Bolt
- Draco Meteor / Ice Beam
- Earth Power / Ice Beam

Freeze Shock is STAB, however, it takes 2 turns to charge. Icium Z turns it into a 200 BP Subzero Slammer that doesn't need to charge up, for one turn. Fusion Bolt is coverage and gets rid of Waters which resist Freeze Shock, like Tapu Fini, Mega Gyarados, and Greninja. Draco Meteor is STAB. Earth Power gets rid of Heatran, Excadrill, Jirachi, and Mega Mawile. Ice Beam can be used instead as a 1 turn STAB move that easily gets rid of Landorus-Therian.

Gen 8 Ubers

Kyurem-White @ Life Orb
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare
- Draco Meteor
- Earth Power

Ice Beam is STAB and threatens the many Dragons in Ubers. Fusion Flare is good coverage and is super-effective against Steel types. Draco Meteor is STAB and lets Kyurem-W get rid of some walls. Earth Power covers Steels like Dialga, which are neutral to Fusion Flare. It also covers Rock types.

I'm making a moveset for this beast (Kyurem-White) since it rose 3 sub ranks up in Gen 8 AG. (C to B+).

Kyurem-White @ Utility Umbrella / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 72 HP / 216 SpD / 220 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sheer Cold / Dragon Tail
- Freeze-Dry
- Fusion Flare
- Roost

The only counter for Rest Talk Sheer Cold is Kyurem-White. Both Ferrothorn and Eternatus lose to non-Choice sets, Sheer cold just beats them easily. This is because Sleep Talk makes up for the low PP of Sheer Cold. Kyurem-White is immune to them, making it a solid counter. Utility Umbrella makes Kyurem-White handle Choice Scarf and Specs Kyogre much easier, while Dragon Tail and Sheer Cold force Calm Mind sets to force switch. Fusion Flare with Utility Umbrella ignores rain, meaning you can hit Ferrothorn and similar steel-types very hard. Finally Freeze-Dry is chosen to hit Kyogre, while Roost is recovery. Heavy Duty Boots is an option but not more useful that Utility Umbrella.

72/216 SpDef are chosen to maximize defense as much as possible, while 220 Spe with Timid allows it to outspeed base 90s along with reaching 308, which allows to outsped 44 Spe Eternatus that has 307 Spe.
While people prefer Eternatus over this, the latter loses to non-Choice item Kyogre that have Rest and Calm Mind. Kyurem-White threatens it with Sheer Cold and Dragon Tail.
