So in my question A couple of questions about Struggle? , the source was Bulbapedia, and I saw something that Struggle have appeals in contests!
How is this even possible? Struggle isn't a TM or a move that a Pokemon can learn...

Can someone explain me how that is possible?

  • Interestingly, the move Struggle has Contest stats, despite the fact that Struggle cannot be used in Contests, as it can only be used if the attacking Pokémon has no PP.

  • This is most likely to prevent thegame from crashing if it is hacked in, since, through normal gameplay, it would be impossible to use Struggle within normal Contest rounds. The Contest stats seem to be the defaults.

It seems to be a default setting so that the game does not crash when it is hacked
