No. Smack Down removes the Flying type's immunity to Ground type moves, but not the Flying typing. So a Crobat under the effects of Smack Down will receive x2 damage from Ice, Rock, Electric, Psychic and Ground.

Roost is the move that removes a Pokemon's Flying type (if it has it) for the duration of the turn.
