Are you asking what a good water type is? Or suggestions for one that you already have?
And for what purpose, ingame or competitive? The rest of your team will also be needed. I just feel like hiding this but I'm trying to be more sympathetic (so hard).
Aw, be nice. xD
BLAAAAH the elemental-monkeys are HORRIBLE. Get deerling (I call him bambi).  Or you could get a snivy from dream world {if you can trade there idk}
THESE  QUESTION GO ON BATTLE SUBWAY. Almost flagged.

In my opinion, Carracosta is one of the best water types in the game! It would also make an excellent tank, but, as most tanks go, its speed is quite lacking. Another nice quality about Carracosta is the fact that it will learn Aqua Tail, a move that I like very much(:

I think you should use jellicent/his evolved form (forget the name now...) it's a great water/ghost type and I use it, I've been waiting for nintendo to make a water/ghost.
