Does Focus Sash Always Stay On a Pokemon?

Like after a battle does it disappear, or does it stay on the Pokemon so you can reuse it?

Focus Sash will only disappear after it has been activated.

During the battle, if it is activated, then yes, it will disappear from the Pokemon. During the battle, if it is not activated, then it will stay on the Pokemon until it is activated, whether it be during the same battle or a different one altogether.

Please note, however, that in an online battle (this includes wi-fi battling, Battle Spot, etc) all items will reappear on your Pokemon when the battle is over, thus negating the need to continue buying new items everytime you face your friends, for example.
