I'm trying to fine a good move list for smeargle need some good ideas right now it got transform, milk drink, tri attack and roar of time.

According to Bulbapedia, there are 559 moves in the game. Smeargle can sketch all but struggle and chatter. He also probably wouldn't carry sketch for a battle, so I won't count that. That leaves 556 moves total for him to learn. nCr=n!/(r!(n-r)!). n=556 and r=4, making 3,939,049,415 possible combinations for a smeargle moveset.

I would use:

• Spore (100% accuracy to make pokemon fall asleep)
• Lock-On (next move guaranteed to hit)
• Sheer Cold
• Double Edge or another powerful move, just in case the others don't work. Surf would probably be best because it's better against more types (DE would be ineffective against ghosts).

Or instead of the OHKO thing, you could go with Spore, Double Team then two attacking moves, maybe Surf and Earthquake?

I like endeavor and extreem speed. If you have a focus sash and you are level one you can beat your friends level 100 with a level one.

Spore makes them go to sleep. Quiver-dance and Bulk-up are boosts to pass and when combined they boost all your basic stats(Accuracy and evasiveness being secondary stats). Baton-pass passes the stat boosts.

In game moveset: Rare pokemon catcher

False Swipe- leaves one HP for the pokemon.

spore- Puts them to sleep

heal block/foresight/soak/shadow force/shadow claw- heal block is for legendaries that like to restore their health, foresight, shadow claw orshadow force is in case you come across a ghost type, and soak can turn your opponent into water type; not only does it eliminate their STAB in most cases, but it lets you use net balls on them if you can't use dusk balls. (that one is more situational, but it can still be helpful depending on what verison you own.)

mean look-Prevents pokemon from escaping. Perfect for roaming legendaries.

What I use is a set-up Smeargel, and it works really well:

Smeargle (F) @ Focus Sash

Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 128 Def / 128 Special Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Spore

So basically, Smeargle prevents fainting from Focus Sash, and spores them to sleep if she doesn't attack first. Either way, asleep. This gives her a chance to set up, Stealth Rocks, possibly a few layers of Spikes, and some Toxic Spikes to get that in-between damage rolling. Lets just hope, as the user, you can get set up quickly. And man, does this thing screw you if you don't have a rapid spinner. ;P

Personally I would use Spore instead of Dragon-tail/Circle throw as Smeargle does not have the bulk to set up.

Well a good moveset would have lock on and a one hit k-o move like sheer cold then moves like earthquake and psychic to defend against fighting types. Sheer cold is better becuase it effects all types.

I had allot of fun with this set yesterday, considering your reading this on the 30th of may.
Ok so the only type of smeargle you see in the current meta game is Spore.Baton Pass.Shell Smash, No one ever thinks about the last move.
So why not destiny bond.
So heres the strat- Send out smeargle first use shell smash (yes first, unlike other sets that allows you to out speed your opponent to put them to sleep, that then allows you to spore so they wont wake up and kill the pokemon passed to which if you use spore first they would have a good chance, though dont use if the pokemon is well known for a priority move which most leads are not.)
Second spore then pass.
Sweeper sweeps.
Ok sweeper eventually gets taken out so switch back in 276 speed will out run most pokemon so you can then spore them and use the usual tactic pass again.
But If the foe is sweeping your team and it will loose you the match send in 1hp smeargle with destiny bond, who will expect that, now you have no major threat to deal with.

Okay, this one won't work unless your opponent has a weak lead, but if it does work, well, you will have one ticked-off opponent on your hands.

Okay, so this is primarily a lead but can be used later as well:

Smeargle (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Belly Drum/Swords Dance
- Agility
- Baton Pass
- Protect

First, go for either Agility or Belly Drum (use Belly Drum ONLY if your opponent's Pokemon can't one-hit the smeargle). If you use Belly Drum, follow up with Protect to regain some of the lost HP with Leftovers. After that, use Baton Pass to give the boost to either a speedy poke or a physical poke.

Used correctly, this can make any physical attacker with decent speed impossible to touch.
It should be taken note of that it would help lots to also have a priority attack on whoever you are Baton Passing to, because if you pass to, say, Salamence, an Ice Shard might almost kill it. So be aware.

Modest Nature (+SAtk,-Atk)

• Soak
• Thunder
• Bullet Punch/ Charge Beam
• Hurricane

Soak is for turning the opponent into a Water type and use Thunder on him. Bullet Punch is for Priority but Charge Beam can be used on the Water type, being super-effective and having a chance to raise Smeargle's low Special attack. Hurricane is also a good move in Rain.
