How do you change a Pokemon's ability through Dream World?

I sent a Kyurem before to Dream World and it didn't change its ability or anything.
How exactly do you do so, if most Pokemon have a Dream World ability?

Kyurem has no hidden ability anyway

You have to find them in the island of dreams

Ohhh, so you only MEET Pokemon with the special abilities, but don't change them through putting them to sleep?
