Is there a way to increase your chances of getting a female starter?

I've gotten 43 boys, And I'm really getting sick of breeding.

Their is no item of getting a female starter but if your lucky it can happen. ( Like I was once)

Forgot about this question, After enough breeding I got it, thanks for the answer anyway.

i got a female mudkip and bulbasaur just by turning off the game about 16 times
with cyndaquil it took to many times, so i stuck with him as a boy
my togepi hatched in ilex forest, but i expected it to hatch in azalea, so i had to stick with a male togepi
p.s. I KNOW TOGEPI IS NOT A STARTER
