Lucario can not learn Meteor Mash, Arlington.
Mega Lucario is now banned so from now on make Mega Lucario movesets as if it were in Uber.

Can somebody please edit this question? I can barely read it.

1) Lucario @ Choice Specs ( Non - Mega )

EVs - 252 Sp. Att./252 Spe/ 4 HP

Nature - Modest(+Sp. Att; -Att.)

Moves-

Aura Sphere (STAB) - For those irritating Double Teamers and Minimizers. Offers a good stab of 90 x 1.5 = 135

Dragon Pulse - This should take care of most Dragon-types in one/two hits due to the Choice Specs

Flash Cannon (STAB) - A good STAB move(80 x 1.5 = 120) and also good coverage. Good for lowering Sp. Def.

Dark Pulse - Good for OHKOing/THKOing those annoying Ghost-types because Aura Sphere won't effect them.

2) Lucario @ Lucarionite (Mega)

EVs - 252 Att. /252 Spe/ 4 HP

Nature - Adamant (+Att; - Sp. Att.)

Moves-

Close Combat (STAB) - What's better than bombarding the opposition with a swift fury of punches. BP = 120 x 1.5= 180

Extreme Speed - To outspeed any Pokemon (Priority +2).

Bullet Punch (STAB) - Again to OUTSPEED

Blaze Kick - Unusual, but I like it. Useful for Grass-types.

enter image description here
3) Lucario @ Lucarionite (for extra speed)

EVs - 100 Def/100 Sp. Def./252 Spe/56 HP

Nature - Jolly (+Spe;-Sp.Att.)

Moves-

Roar - This set is paired with a Pokemon which can learn Stealth Rocks and Spikes.

Copycat - After using Roar, use Copycat(which will copy Roar). It ignores Priority.

Power-Up Punch - To take care of the last Pokemon.

Substitute - For protection.

All of these Lucarios have Steadfast (Ability). Lucario is awesome and I recommend it on any team.

My lucario has
Close Combat
Aura Sphere
Copycat
Force Palm
Are this moves OK?
Well, if I were you I'd remove Force Palm and give it something like Dark Pulse or Dragon Pulse. Close Combat isn't too good either. It may offer STAB but it is a Physical move, Lucario excels in Special Attack. It takes a recoil of Defense and Special Defense. I don't recommend Copycat either.

Hello everyone! As a physical sweeper, lucario has few overall weakness. Preferably going hybrid Lucario would be the best. Here's my Lucario

EVs- 252 Atk 252Spd
Item-Focus Sash (as a average Pokemon, he doesn't have the best defenses and can be one hitted by ground of fighting moves)
Ability: Steadfast
Nature: Quirky, Bashful, Hardy (as a sweeper, lowering any of you stats is the last thing you need, and it is better to have a balanced base for lucario)

Moveset:
Drain Punch: lucario requires some sustain, and drain punch is a great healing move with heal recovery
Aura Sphere: As its signature move, this always hit moves is high in damage, and VERY USEFUL in terms of areas where an enemy has high defense, but low special defence.
Me first: I know, this is wierd, but as a fast Pokemon, me first steals the opponent's move and performs it with 1.5 times more power, allowing lucario to out speed even a priority move, including and enemy's extremespeed
Extremespeed: as a moderately bulky Pokemon, lucario is susceptible to priority moves, and having extremespeed will out speed any move, besides fake out

lol everyone looks at the first page of answers and votes on them, they dont care about or look at the other pages. I also recommend getting rid of aura sphere since you already have drain punch. also your evs dont really boosts aura spheres power since aura sphere is special and your evs are for attack and speed
lol i may have made an error when i posted this ages ago, but quicrky, bashful or hardy don't increase or lower anything, making it relatively balanced. People's options may change, since this is for non Mega Evolve lucario

When I had one I taught it:
Aura Sphere
Close Combat
Dragon Pulse
ExtremeSpeed

ENJOY :D hope it helps

Physical Lucario, 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Def

  • Stone Edge (For Fire types)
  • Earthquake (Great move, plus STAB)
  • Bullet Punch (In case you need to get that final blow)
  • Close Combat (Need I say more)

Special Lucario, 252 SAtk, 252 Spd, 4 SDef

  • Dragon Pulse (Great move for dealing w/ 7th gym)
  • Dark Pulse (For those pesky Psychics)
  • Aura Sphere (What's better than a same type attack bonus boosted, never-miss move. Not much)
  • Flash Cannon (Same type attack bonus)

Y U NO put E-speed on Lucario?
earthquake is not stab, close combat is and you should notice bullet punch is stab too so it has more power. and you should cover your weaknesses(fire, fighting and ground) also the moveset is not for in game batttles so you should edit the Great move for dealing w/ 7th gym. also, lucario is not weak to psychic types, so replace it with psychic to cover fighting weakness or water pulse/hidden power water to cover fire and ground weaknesses.

So far, a moment of enlightenment came to me in my play through of the latest version of Pokemon: Lucario is a beast. This isn't a new concept in the least, but without EV training, he laid waste to just about everything that crossed its path save for the faster fighting and fire types. I'm going to share two things here. One is my In-Game MS, the second is what I hope is a good competitive set. Thank you for your time.

In-Game -
Lucario
Nature: Timid
EVs: Unspecified

Moves -
Shadow Claw [Changed to Shadow Ball before E4 match]
Aura Sphere
Dragon Pulse
Poison Jab

Potential Build -
Lucario
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp.A, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Aura Sphere
Dragon Pulse
Shadow Ball
Flash Cannon

I could go into detail about what each of them does, but I've posted here long enough to know you all know very well what they do. As far as Flash Cannon goes, I'm open to suggestions particularly for that one, but that's not to shoo away any other suggestions for any other moves. Again, thank you for your time.

Lucario sweeper set

Ability: Justified (SCREW YOU, CRUNCH!)
Nature: Admant (Oooo, you will die)
Item: Lucarionite (Mega evolve)

Dragon pulse (Die dragons)
Aura sphere (Epic power and never misses)
Extreme Speed (BETTER THEN QUICK ATTACK)
Close Combat (JUSTICE AWAITS)

Dragon pulse rapes dragons.
Aura sphere never misses and is strong as hell.
Extreme speed is hella strong and always hits first.
Close combat rapes anythig in its path.

Me personally, I use a different tactic. Mine is
Adament nature, 255 speed, 255 attack.
Justified ability

Blaze kick
Hi jump kick
Earthquake ( for fire weakness)
Heal pulse/ice punch (for double battle assistance/ for ground and flying)

For spA lucario I haven't done. I have the lucario above, but for spA I'd use
Jolly nature, 255 spA, 255 speed.
Inner focus ability

Focus Blast (STAB)
Psychic ( fighting weakness)
Water pulse ( ground And fire weakness)
Dark pulse/dragon pulse.

Both lucarios would hold either air ballon or lucarionite

Screw Focus Blast. Put in Aura Sphere.

Lucario@Focus Sash 'Cause he can't take a hit!
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant
- Hi Jump Kick/Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Extremespeed/Bullet Punch
- Earthquake/Stone Edge

Lucario is a flippen monster. I would Prefer Close Combat over Hi Jump Kick, 'cause even if it lowers your defense and special defense, it still won't scar you if it misses. Ice punch is a must have on any Physical Lucario. I prefer Extremespeed over bullet punch, but it is still a good move for STAB. I also Prefer Earthquake over Stone Edge, because earthquake has a higher accuracy, and damages more annoying types. (Steel, Rock, Fire, etc.)

Mixed sweeper

Lucario @ Lucarionite
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Sp.Attack, 4 Speed
Nature: Naughty/Rash

Aura Sphere/Flash Cannon
Close Combat/High Jump Kick
Dragon Pulse/Psychic
Earthquake

I like Close Combat better than High Jump Kick, due to the fact it seems more stable, and a protector can ruin you if you run High Jump Kick. This thing hits hard, and being mixed can defeat most tanks and walls. Dragon Pulse and Psychic are great coverage, but I wouldn't use both. I think Psychic to cover fighting weakness is best. Earthquake deals with fire types.

Physical Lucario:

Nature: Adamant
Item: Lucarionite
Ability: Steadfast-->Adaptability

Move set:

- Bullet Punch
- High Jump Kick\Close Combat
- Sword Dance
- Detect\Protect

Special Lucario:

Nature: Modest
Item: Lucarionite
Ability: Steadfast-->Adapability

Move set;

- Vacuum Wave
- Flash Cannon
- Nasty Plot
- Detect\Protect

I made these sets for dealing with one Pokemon, Mega Kangaskhan. Most likely going for the Mega-Evolution, Kangaskhan will use Fake Out, activating Lucario's Steadfast. She probably won't use a Power-Up-Punch, so she'll go with Sucker Punch (which won't do anything), then, attack using what ever.
