i know i ask this question a billion times but you guys never answer me you only give me victory road which will proboly ko me before i get any training P.S hes on level 49

For any fire-type Pokemon you should hang around Snowpoint City and the surrounding routes, where you will get mostly Ice-type Pokemon. You should be able to KO them quickly and gain a few EXP.

I agree with Pokemaster. Snowpoint City is a good place to train, or any forest in the game. The best places to train your Magmortar are where you can easily knock out Pokemon and still get lots of EXP, so try to think of places in Platinum where there are lots of grass or ice type Pokemon that are at LEAST lvl 30.
