If a pokemon holding Light Clay uses Light screen, then switches out of battle, does the light screen still stay up longer?

Emolga8 was incorrect, it DOES last for Eight turns, making it much more efficient for use, it will even stay for the 8 turns after you switch out.

Eg. Pokemon With Light Clay uses Light Screen, and switches out the next turn, extended boost will still work.

Yes, the effects of the Light Clay will still be in effect even if you switch the Pokemon holding the Light Clay.
