I'm wondering because when i try to catch male solosis with four experiment, the only ability i can get is overcoat, and when i catch my FIRST female solosis, i get this magic guard ability :D

And is there any difference between male pokemon's and female pokemon's status?

No, each ability is equally likely at 50/50 whatever Pokemon it is. The gender doesn't affect the ability at all.

It may seem like it but it is one of those random things that looks like something is going on in the game when it is not. The only solosis I have ever had w/ modest nature & magic guard was a girl.
