it is supposed to be a mini-protect against priority. And Prankster gives Status Priority. So would Quick Guard protect against Whismicott leech seed?

Magic coat works great as a counter for Whimsicot as it rarely carries attacking moves. When it usually starts out with taunt, it'll end up taunting itself, then end up struggling or having to switch.

Quick guard will not affect moves that are given priority by prankster.
