Please log in or register to answer this question. 1 Answer 2 votes It varies quite a lot, but in most cases it is 10%. For example, Flamethrower "may cause a burn" - the chance is 10%. Having said that, flinching moves appear to mostly be 20%. Just check our movedex to see exactly what chance it is.
