In a secret base in emerald I once had a base with a big hole blocking my passage. Is this normal, & how do I fix it ?

This is normal for the cava bases. To fix this, you need to buy a plank at the Department store rooftop sale.

Or you could get a different secret base. My favorite is a bush very close to the left of Fortree City.

Thanks. I actually have a favourite but I need the planks (it is on the south part of the upper part of the river to the left of Fortree in a tree. You need surf to swim down stream to get to a patch of grass. It is huge with 3 somewhat individual rooms).
