My sister hatched her egg and a larvesta came. She counted about 10,240 steps. Even I wonder why does a larvesta take a long time to hatch?

ah, the Larvesta that bacomes such a beautiful Pokemon, Volcorona....
it takes 10455 steps to hatch it.

Umm... In the Larvesta Pokedex it says 10,455... Maybe something is wrong here... http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/larvesta See what I mean? Or am I just seeing things?

Also, click here for instructions to get a Larvesta egg. Be sure to have a pokemon with flame body in your party to speed things up! Hope this helps!

sorry! that's the one i got by counting it myself. i must of been off some.
