Are you going to evolve it?
I ´m not sure...I was told that Chansey without Seismic Toss is useless

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Aromatherapy
- Softboiled

Sadly, the Chansey has to have a Brave Nature, a Def boosting nature would have helped allot, and Atk is useless on Chansey.
Anyway, Chansey is one of the best walls/T-stallers in the game, as well as being a good cleric. Eviolite helps it out allot, making it's defensive bulk large than Blissey, and it still has that huge HP stat. This set is pretty simple, counter a wall with it, or stop a sweeper dead in its tracks. Seismic Toss is the only Attacking move that should ever touch Chansey, as it's pitiful offensive stats won't allow anything of greater use. Toxic is the main killer on this set, Softboiled recovers any hits offf quickly, and Aromatherapy/Heal Bell helps knock off opposing toxic/burn etc.
The EVs might look weird for a Chansey, but they allow Eviolite to be more effective. 651 Hp is a pretty good stat anyway, nothing to complain about.

If you plan to evolve it, I would suggest a Blissey like this:

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 200 HP / 252 SAtk / 56 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Fire Blast / Shadow Ball
- Grass Knot / Focus Blast
- Softboiled
- Calm Mind

This is my own personal Blissey, with a sub-par nature. Item is pretty obvious, 1/8 recovery of 701 HP is incredible. I like 701 HP simply because it has over 700 hp, and if, for some reason, someone wanted to try to Seismic Toss this thing to death, it would take 8, not including recovery. Attacks are straightforward, they each attack the main 4x weaknesses in today's meta. I prefer the Shadow Ball / Focus Blast combo, as it hits everything at least neutral. Both sets will handily scrap Jellicent + Ferrothorn. Softboiled is recovery, if Wish is possible, it can help too, especially for your team. Calm Mind makes this thing even more of a tank, and boosts its offensive ability.

Seismic Toss is from III gen only, so second set is better... :D
On the second set, you only have 701 HP if you have 252 HP Evs.
I just checked again Fate, and with a 31 HP IV Blissey, it will have 701 HP with 200 EV investment. If you misunderstood and thought I was referring to Chansey, you're still wrong, it needs only needs 240 HP EVs for 701 HP.

Darth: cool, I was just giving a move set. To be honest, I too prefer the second set, and it is my usual moveset, only with a Modest nature.
And LEftovers Heal 1/16 HP, not 1/8.
Yeah, I forgot, thanks dude.
But, Heinz, if you could change the first one, it would be great too =3
I guess you could try Substitute + Softboiled and toxic for old school t-stalling... Anything else I can think of is really gimmicky, like Defense Curl + Rollout, with Attack EVs... I really can't do much offensively with a no Seismic Toss Chansey, I would recommend just evolving and using the blissey set, it doesn't get walled by Steels.

I can use it on my Trick Room team!
Flamethrower (Fire Blast if Serene Grace)
Ice Beam (Blizzard if Serene Grace)
Thunderbolt (Thunder if Selene Grace)
Softboiled
