Does Pickup work in Pokemon XD?

I got this Pickup item list from another question and I'm wondering if this works with Pokemon XD.

Yup, Pickup works in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. The Ability may obtain Full Heals, Super Potions and Great Balls, regardless of the user's level, as well as Ultra Balls and Rare Candy if the user is at or above level 25.

That's actually not wntirely true. I'm playing Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness right now at the time I'm posting this, and I have a lv. 21 Teddiursa and she found a Rare Candy and a Nugget after about twenty minutes.
