I might as well put this here, this is fear aron.

AronhaxFTW (Aron) (M) @ Shell Bell

Trait: Sturdy

EVs: none

any nature

  • Endeavor

The idea with fear aron is to have a pokemon set up sandstorm, and later Aron comes in, your opponent attacks you and knocks you down to sturdy, or set up a calm mind or something, aron uses endeavor, knocks them down to low enough HP for sandstorm to take them out.
do the same thing on the next pokemon.
Things to watch out for is Steel, ground and rock types along with pokemon with magic guard or magic coat and, none of them will be damaged by sandstorm making this fail.
also watch out for ghosts as endavor does not affect them.

A youtuber called TheFlamingSpade came this i would believe, so the credit goes to him.

This is the best possible moveset for Aggron. You could replace Iron Head for Iron Tail, but I wouldn't. Just watch out for Ground and Fighting types. ANother option is to add in Aqua Tail. It has good power, decent accuracy, and it deals with Ground types. You could replace either Iron Head (bad type coverage) or Double-Edge (no type coverage) for it. Here are some other Aggron options, in order from best to worst. However, yours is probably best, Aqua Tail included or not. Movesets:

  1. Mega Attacker
Head Smash: Egg move. High power, STAB, with Rock Head, no Recoil!
Double-Edge: High power, high accuracy, no recoil with Rock Head.
Iron Tail: High power, STAB, good chance to lower Defense.
    Earthquake: Obviously.

  2. Weaker Mega Offense
    Iron Defense: Raises defense.
Double-Edge: High power, high accuracy, no recoil with Rock Head.
    Earthquake: Of course.
Head Smash: High power, STAB, no recoil with Rock Head.

  3. Even Weaker Offense
Sandstorm: Damages the foe and raises Aggron's Sp. Def.
    Earthquake: Yes.
Double Edge: No recoil with Rock Head, high power, high accuracy.
Rock Slide: Decent power, STAB, decent accuracy, good chance to cause flinching.

I KNOW, DOESNT AGGRON POWN ALL!! Also, by the way, I noticed on that question "Is this a good Rock and Steel only team, we both put Add Aggron!
Yeah, if I ddn't have a Metagross, I would add an Aggron to my team. I used one in Ruby until I got my Metagross.
I call Metagross and Aggron Equal. In my Emerald, I alternate between the two.
Yeah, but I need a Pokemon tha has a Psychic type attack on my team.
Ah, in my HG, I just use Mewtwo
In my Emerald, sometimes I need a psychic type too.
Gardevoir is good, but it doesn't have that great of moves until Generation 4.
I say metagross is better(no offense swampert)
None taken, Metagross is AMAZING, I just like aggron better.

Aggron Adamant nature. EVs: 52 HP / 252 Attack / 204 Speed. Item Choice Band/Leftovers. Ability Rock Head.
204 Speed EVs are important to outrun 75 Base speed pokes and slower who don't invest in Speed.
Obviously when using Choice Band, Stealth Rock is questionable.
description

Head smash Extremely powerful move, stab plus no recoil thanks to rock head.

Aqua Tail hits Ground-types for solid damage.

Earthquake hits Steel-types that Aggron might have trouble with and has pretty good coverage.

Heavy Slam/Stealth Rock Heavy Slam is a nice secondary STAB move, and if your team lacks a Steath Rocks supporters, Aggron can reliably set up his hazards..

Head Smash: Why wouldn't someone use this?

Aqua Tail: Type coverage.

Ice Punch: Further type coverage.

Earthquake: Even more type coverage. Powerful move.

You can also replace Head Smash with Stone Edge for a lucky critical hit. Substitute and Focus Punch also causes some damage and makes Aggron hard to take down.

I FINALLEH GOT AN AGGRON!!!!!!
Anyways, this is what I gave him.

Sh**Brick (Aggron)(M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Autotomize- He needs this, raises his speed to where he might be able to sweep, maybe...
-Head Smash- STAB and its basically the best move ever with Rock Head.
-Earthquake- Why not?
-Brick Break- Coverage

So basically, if there's a pokemon with a Water, Fighting, or Ground type move, you can kiss your iron dinosaur behind goodbye.
