If you have a good competitive moveset for Corsola, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

Corsola Pokédex and learnset for reference.

This thing cannot be taken seriously in any sort of competitive play. At all. Sure, it gets a few good moves, and has decent abilities, but other than that, this thing is laughable at best. The only advantage this thing gets from it's typing is that it takes neutral damage from Steel and Water, and resists Fire, Flying, and Ice. But with a 4x weakness to Grass, and is weak to Electric, Fighting, and Ground, it can never last in RU and UU, let alone OU. This guy's only hope to be taken sort of seriously is that it either gets an evolution so it can be in Little Cup, and get usage of the Eviolite item, which increases the Defense and Special Defense of a Pokémon by 50% or 1.5%. And the only way it can be taken sort of seriously in the NU meta is to be a support Pokémon. This is my suggested spread.

Corsola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Sucker Punch
- Rock Blast

Leftovers is pretty obvious, recover some HP each turn. Regenerator is to get some more health back when you switch out. You could also run Natural Cure, but I prefer Regenerator. You could also run psychically defensive, but the recommended set from Pokemon Showdown is for it to be specially defensive.

Stealth Rock is for extra damage on the enemy each time they switch in a Pokémon onto the field. Though beware rapid spinners such as Excadrill, and Defoggers like Skarmory.

Toxic is for even more extra damage each turn on the opponent, wittle them down more by more while you get Lefties recovery.

Sucker Punch is to get a last ditch hit on the opponent before fainting, and with 80BP, it will be sure to do at least some damage.

And Rock Blast is for a STAB move that can break sturdies and focus sashes.

Here's mine:

Corsola @ Zoom Lens
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 HP
Brave Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Iron Defense / Curse / Amnesia
- Recover / Aqua Ring

Earthquake is used for solid 100 power damage- the 80% accuracy caused by Hustle is rectified by the Zoom Lens. Rock Blast is a decent STAB that hits through Substitutes, and the accuracy stays the same due to the Zoom Lens. Iron Defense is used first in battle to, what else, increase your defense, so you become a physical tank- but you can use Amnesia to become a special tank. You can use Curse, too, so other even slower Pokemon outspeed you so that the Zoom Lens always takes effect. Recover for, of course, recovery, or if you don't want to always waste a turn to recover you can just use Aqua Ring for an effect similar to Leftovers.
0 Speed EVs ensure that the Zoom Lens takes effect as often as possible- the Speed is lowered even further by the Brave Nature, and can be lowered as far down as possible by Curse.

I actually found this moveset in the comments of a Youtube video that showed you "How to use Corsola". I thought since it wasn't on this page, I would share it.

Corsola @ Choice Band

Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Earthquake
- Icicle Spear

Who would've expected a physical corsola?

Corsola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Scald / Power Gem
- Recover

Corsola is outclassed by pretty much everything, and there's no real reason to use it in serious competitive play. However, if for whatever reason you do choose to over something actually viable, a defensive Stealth Rock set is your best bet. With Stealth Rock and Toxic it functions as a decent, if underpowered, lead capable of inflicting at least some damage on an opposing team. Scald is STAB and can be used to fish for burns, while Power Gem is Rock STAB. Scald is generally the better choice, as the burn chance offers more utility than Power Gem. Recover + Leftovers + Regenerator give it some staying power. The EVs and Nature make it as bulky as possible.

Again, there's no serious reason to use Corsola. Its Galarian cousin is the better Corsola form, and even down in the lowest tiers it's outclassed. Heavy-Duty Boots make Stealth Rock a bit less common, but this is really the only thing Corsola has going for it.
