What is a good moveset for Donphan?

Mine knows:

Body Slam: Good power, high accuracy, good chance to paralyze.

Earthquake: High power, high accuracy, double damage against Pokemon using Dig, STAB.

Fire Fang: Decent power, decent accuracy, chance to cause flinching or cause a burn, used to deal with Grass and Ice types.

Seed Bomb: Good power, high accuracy, used to deal with Water types.

I'd say this set is good. Maybe carry rapid spin to deal with entry hazards, but that's not a necessity.

Good, but for Donphan, I always liked poison jab. Its much better than body slam in my opinion.................... But bod slam works too.

UU stealth rock layer

  • Stealth Rock-Sets up rocks against the opponent. Perfect for things like hail teams.
  • Earthquake-STAB.
  • Rapid Spin-Allows him to blow away entry hazards midgame if necessary; also deals with early game antileads or entry hazards early on.
  • Ice Shard-Gives him basic priority over the opponent.

descriptionF.E.A.R.-PHAN

Item: Shell Bell
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Brave
EVs: 252 Attack(No other EVs)

Endeavor
Ice-shard
Roar
Rapid-spin

Yes this is a F.E.A.R. set, this works best with a level 25 Donphan(Lowest possible level for him) and is even better with Sand support, he is the new Aron! You will want minimum IVs in every stat except Attack, his stats should be: 80 Hp, 96 Attack, 65 Defense, 35 S.Attack, 35 S.Defense, 27 Speed on PO he can be lvl 1 though. Endeavor is for lowering the opponent down to your HP. Ice-shard is Priority in case you are up against a Pokemon that is not immune to sand or you are no on a sand team. Roar is for switching a Ghost type away. Rapid-spin is for getting rid of hazards.

Warning this set is insanely cheap especially on Sand teams.
