for example, i read that someone was breeding lapras with dratini or dragonair. how does that work? and what does breeding those two make?
are there others that you can breed that way?

They just have to be in the same egg group. Lapras and dratini/dragonair can breed because thier in the same egg group..

dragonair and lapras are from the same family group and it depends whos the male and female if dragonairs a female then you will get a dratini if lapras is a female you will get a lapras

i dont even know what an egg group is. in simple terms would you call that somthing like family line?
