National Dex UU

Manectric-Mega @ Manectite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rising Voltage
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower / Overheat

Pretty much the standard Mega Manectric set, but with a different STAB move. Rising Voltage has double power in Electric Terrain, which is what this set is to be used in. HP Ice deals with ground and dragon types and forms the BoltBeam, well, more like the VoltBeam combo. Volt Switch is for pivoting. Flamethrower provides coverage. Overheat can be used for more power, but do note it drops your special attack, which is why you would want to use Volt Switch after you use Overheat if a ground type doesn't switch in. Pincurchin would be a good Pokémon to pair up with as it can set up Electric Terrain and Spikes which helps put Pokémon into range of Mega Manectric's attacks OHKOing them.

It's better if you suggest what Terrain setter you're gonna use, since I don't think there are any good Electric Terrain setters in NDUU.
Edited one in. Unfortunately, Pincurchin was the only one that came into my mind for immediate Electric Terrain access, but it will have to do.
@-MegaManectric- here is a Manectite feel free to use it on your set if you want. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/items/manectite.png

Ability: Lighting Rod
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)

  • Rain Dance
  • Thunder
  • Hidden Power [Water]

Rain Dance to help out other moves.
Thunder is good STAB and powerful.
Hidden Power Water rounds out the coverage and gets the rain boost.
Volt Switch is used to scout switch out and STAB.
Ugh why didn't it get Grass Knot?

Hah. First Mega Moveset.

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Roar / Hidden Power [Grass] / Hidden Power [Water]
- Electro Ball

  • Thunderbolt (STAB, why wouldn't you)
  • Flamethrower (Best coverage move it has)
  • Roar (for Ground-types)

Thunderbolt is an obvious choice; Flamethrower to provide some coverage; Roar to get rid of Ground-types/ Hidden Power Grass or Water for Ground coverage; Electro Ball is practically an OHKO, but you would have to breed in Unova than transfer.
Also, you need to be faster than the opposing Pokemon for this set to work...

Roar has a lowered priority. If you're facing a Special Attacker, then there's no point to it. Roar works for switch-ins, but other than that you have to take a hit, and Mega Manectric can take one EQ at best, after Intimidate.

Gen VI, pre-PokeBank OU

Manectric (M) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod --> Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Grass] / Hidden Power [Ice]
- Volt Switch

I use a mono-electric team, so that would be worth noting.

The EV yield is same as that of my Manectric in my mono RU team in Gen V. It works in Gen VI too, so I'm not changing it.
Lightning Rod is amazing when used right. You don't see it used often in OU, but when it does get triggers, Manectric is a machine. Intimidate is good for Physical sweepers.

Thunderbolt and Flamethrower are just obvious choices.
I'm using HP Grass atm, since he's my main Special sweeper, and I need a Grass type move, lol. Though HP Ice is far better, since Garchomp and Dragonite flood OU.
Volt Switch is good for an Intimidate on Physical sweepers then bailing outta there.

I use this Manectric all the time as a lead on Showdown, and it's great.

Manectric (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Static
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
Shiny: Yes (duhh)

  • Volt Switch
  • Hidden Power [Ice]
  • Toxic
  • Flamethrower

Air Balloon prevents a Quake OHKO and makes them waste another move trying to break it. Flamethrower and HP Ice are for great coverage, including ground, and both are surprise attacks. And it's surprisingly fast.
As a lead, its great for taking out setup 'mons like Ferrothorn and Garchomp. If you don't like your odds, Volt Switch out to something more suitable to the situation (unless, of course, its a Ground type you're facing). Toxic is, well, Toxic, though I've found Attract can be fun in that slot too.
Its ability is simply there for extra annoyance, especially when you can't hit that Excadrill with Toxic. The only thing that I've found that stumps this Manectric is Heatran, but a quick Volt Switch out and you'll be just dandy.

Doubles support Mega Manectric

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod-->Intimidate
EVs: 20 HP / 252 SpA / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch / Thunderbolt
- Snarl
- Hidden Power [Ice] / Overheat
- Protect

With the combination of intimidate and snarl, you can both of the opponents offenses in a single turn. Volt Switch is preferred to make spamming intimidate easier, but thunderbolt can also be used for pure power. Overheat may be used to get past threats like Ferrothorn and Amoonguss and is preferable that Manectric has Charizard-Y as a partner, but HP Ice is great against the common Salamence and Garchomp

  • Thunderbolt

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod / Static
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Discharge
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flamethrower
- Signal Beam

  • Discharge: High base power, plus STAB and high paralysis chance.
  • Hidden Power [Ice]: Good power, plus used to deal with Ground type weakness.
  • Flamethrower: High base power, plus chance to burn, which halves physical move's BP, since Manectric's defense isn't very great. Also takes advantage of Manectric's high Sp. Atk stat.
  • Signal Beam: Again, taking advantage of its high SpA stat and the chance to confuse foes.

I went ahead and assumed that "Spd" is speed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Scarf and Timid make Electro Ball very powerful. Flamethrower is nice coverage. Signal beam is coverage cuz you have nothing else. Volt switch is STAB and lets you escape.

Gen 8

Manectric @ Zap Plate
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Electric Terrain
- Discharge
- Volt Switch
- Ice Fang

Electric terrain is for electric STAB boost. Discharge is boosted STAB and taking advantage of Electric terrain. Volt switch is for returning. and Ice fang is for covering against pesky ground types. It can sweep too using discharge.

Gen 8 ZU

Manectric @ Leftovers
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Overheat
- Thunderbolt

You all probably heard of Choice Specs and Choice Scarf Manectric. You probably haven't heard of SubToxic Manectric, which is what I'm posting. Lighting Rod gives Manectric an electric immunity so you can switch into electric attacks. Substitute is for scouting and can allow you to avoid status conditions. Toxic wears down opposing Pokemon and its checks such as Groundvally, Rhydon, and Piloswine. Overheat is coverage against Pokemon like Ferroseed, Frosmoth, and Tangela. Thunderbolt is STAB, and electric and fire coverage is really nice.

Gen 8 ZU

Manectric @ Throat Spray
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hyper Voice
- Agility

A little gimmicky, but can work. Lightning Rod allows you to switch into electric type attacks. Thunderbolt is STAB. Flamethrower is for coverage against Pokémon like Ferroseed and Tangela. Hyper Voice is neutral coverage and activates your Throat Spray, raising your special attack. Agility boosts your speed.
