Question

Does Toxic do the same amount of damage to every pokemon type, or does it do less damage to not very effective types and more to super effective types?

Toxic badly poisons the target, poison(like other status effects) does not change in effect because of Type. It stays the same. Toxic can not however work on Steel and poison types, nor Pokemon with Magic-guard, or immunity.
