Why are my Pokemon gaining boosted EXP?

I was playing Pokemon Platinum a while a ago and some of my pokemon were gaining extra EXP than usual it even said they were gaining more. Please someone answer why they are gaining extra?

They may be traded, or holding the Lucky Egg.

Sometimes it can be bad for me because traded pokemon follow commands different accoriding to baddges. Do you think that if I trade my other pokemon back and forth they will get boosted EXP too?
